I think a lot of the disconnection is adults trying to pass judgment against a game that's meant for children, but a lot of the game is shoddy quality. The jokes are cringey, but there's nothing really that offensive, and it's basically at the level of a generic Saturday morning cartoon. There are some issues with the pacing as well, but that can kind of be forgiven as it tries to be a hybrid of several different game modes.
