On July 11, 2015, someone died. That someone has Satoru Iwata, the father of our childhood games and the games we still love today.
That man has created characters and games that will never be forgotten. Because of that, Satoru Iwata wont be easily forgotten. We kept those fantasies close our out hearts and when Iwata died, the man that changed the gaming world forever, a part of us died.

The fantasy characters he created lost a part of them as well. Though they are not real to the world, they're real to us. As the beloved characters, like Pikachu, Mario, Link, Samus, and Donkey Kong, line up to their father's grave, remember him for what he has done for Nintendo and the rest of the world. Remember the smile that was on your face when you played a new Nintendo game came out. Remember the sadness of the end of a game followed by happiness upon a new adventure. Remember the joy you had from the moment you pressed "Start".

Rest in Peace Satoru Iwata.
