## Project Proposal A: Arrive

  User can create a nested set of timers to keep them on track during a task, such as getting ready to go to work. So, rather than a simple wake-up timer, this app will invoke a series of timered steps to keep the user on track: wake up, finish showering, finish breakfast, out the door, etc.

  Problem: Helping people get out of the house. Additionally, making choices will have tangible consequences/ tradoffs instead of ambiguous concepts like "being late"

  User: Anyone that has trouble getting ready and making it somewhere ontime (e.g. all of my friends, my girlfriend, everyone!)

  Technologies: HTML, CSS, React, React-Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX using PostgreSQL, Axiom, and Knex.


## Project Proposal B: App Ranker

  An app 'reviews' site that keeps things ultra-simple: apps are organized in categories, where all you do is upvote an app. You can only upvote one app per category, but you can change which app your vote is for.

  Problem: It's hard to find new apps. Reviews are great, but it takes a lot of effort to write one, so odds are many people don't contribute their opinions. Keeping it simply to, "what's my favorite app for 'x'?" should generate many more responses, giving the user an easier way to tell which apps might be worth a closer look.

  User: Anyone who loves apps, but is overwhelemed by the prospect of trying to find new ones. This user simply wants to surface the best app candidates to look at more closely.
