  1. [17:45] Hrist seems to relax. Her patrol was over; all that was left was to go home. There was just one more loose end to tie up.
  2.
  3. Approaching Nox, the youth moves uncomfortably too inside the felinae's personal space. Even from this distance, it's hard to tell she's affiliated with the knights. Her dress is distinctly Therian, and she's not wearing any sort of armor or greaves. Though she has a sword, it's a simple one made of steel, and the runework on it is not very complex.
  4.
  5. "Can I see what you're writing...! I'm an artist!!"
  6.
  7.
  8. (Hrist)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [17:46] "You wouldn't desire to see me do such ugly things, would you? It'd be rather unbecoming of a flower boy to shed blood when love is the better option."
  12.
  13. It was of course the better option, one that would not betray the desire to assist where he was needed. Though to commit to something else would be just as entertaining as the thought of perhaps stepping out of his comfort zone.
  14.
  15. Another time.
  16.
  17. "It was... something else. Something I would not desire to be a part of, if only to ensure that I could go back to Osrona and play nice with the many budding roses there. Besides! If I were barred entry, would you even come to visit?"
  18.
  19. He chuckles while canting his head. It likely didn't matter, though one's playfulness could elicit an answer regardless.
  20.
  21. "I'll tag along. If only to have something to do myself."
  22. (Tiernay)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [17:55] "Of course I would! What do you take me for? Seeing you fight would be funny, especially since you despite it. Love can be found in physical violence, I assure you."
  26.
  27. Laughing, she just shakes her head. "You'll have to move sooner or later, staying in the same spot will only bore you. And the stars wouldn't be pleased, as flowers are only trampled unless defended."
  28.
  29. But to go back to Osrona to play nice with others? That sounded rather boring to her, not like going out to grab ingredients was going to be much better. "Hmm... I think I would come visit you, if you told me you were barred or got someone else to. You are quite interesting, a lot more than most. So I would do it, if not to entertain myself."
  30.
  31. Her tail sways. "What would you prefer to do, go into the city or farm up ingredients?" Pausing, she turns around to look at Hrist.
  32.
  33. The no name that refused to share her identity, now pushing up and closing the space between them. Too close for comfort, and it brings something out of the small cat for a moment.
  34.
  35. Orchid hues flicker, the spiral of energy that cycles through them all thickens. Like a heavy feeling weighing down on your limbs, as a complete look of judgement and refusal washes over her features. Wasn't it always advised against moving too quickly towards a cat, especially when you've not even received it's permission?
  36.
  37. Long fingers extend out, as claws are put to use. One feral swipe upwards across her face, too weak to cause any real damage... But those scratch marks would certainly burn against the flesh if she didn't move back.
  38. (Nox)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [18:06] "Love in physical violence hmn. Tough love, as they say. I wouldn't say that it's the best approach, nor would I say it's the worst. A rather abstract preference for either is all that he could provide, as fear is not necessarily the answer this adolescent seeks.
  42.
  43. "Ingredients, we'll scour the woods and perhaps someone will find me. I know you and the rose-wearing companion are all about money. Don't let me take away from your business."
  44.
  45. The Felinae was an odd character, though most certainly not one he felt the need to avoid. Yet the thought of interest does only linger for a moment as he turns to face Xyth.
  46.
  47. "It is mutual, then. The desire to perhaps speak with one another and nurture the flower that is friendship. The Sunflower found your demeanors to be somewhat... Endearing? Perhaps. It is with our invitation that we offer friendship. You may bring Akame to our abandoned church, as well as the rest of your beautiful kin."
  48.
  49. A mouthful, though it mattered little. He was content with passing on Mar's intentions, though not to the point where one would mistake his words as her own.
  50.
  51. "These kids though, they are all rowdy. So keep that in mind, I can't promise you peaceful frolick through the woods."
  52.
  53. Smile.
  54. (Tiernay)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [18:14] Crimson blood drips into the floor of the bridge. Hrist gasped as the pit-pattered on her face and tunic. The cut was shallow, and it didn't hurt, but it had got her by surprise. Her heart was pumping fire, her skin singing, as she stumbles backwards, falling to the ground. For a moment, her hand is the only tense part of her body. She clings tot her sword as her meagre body tries to catch up to what was happening.
  58.
  59. Hris grabs at her face. It stings. She's still a new mage. Unpracticed, unrefined, and unable. Unable to fight like a real knight, and unable to control herself and her powers. She doesn't shout, cry, or scream. Instead, she clenches her teeth together so hard that they'd crack.
  60.
  61. The air around them gets heaving, and heavier. It's like there's an ocean above at first, but it gets heavier still. Those around her - Nox especially - would feel as if they had to kneel, as a pulse of gravity well over this planet's normal one pulses outwards.
  62. (Hrist)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [18:23] A few droplets of blood drip from her nails, which she looks down at for a second. Having landed her mark, she expected people to be able to avoid her movements. A shame... But at the same time it was rather relieving, having punished someone for stepping into her comfort zone without permission.
  66.
  67. Ahh... And how angry they had become, gritting their teeth hard enough to crack the tooth? That only makes her disgusted, looking at Hrist in complete disgust.
  68.
  69. But it seems they want to respond violently, even after having a chance to simply leave. The gravitational pull aims to tug her down, and she could feel it vibrating against her body. Knees trembling, before she brings her attention back up again.
  70.
  71. The cosmos glows around her form, the twinkling scape of the dark skies dancing across her body. It was bright, even using the light to reflect off from her form. As if making her intangible for a moment, seemingly 'unaffected' by the gravitational pull.
  72.
  73. "I'm going to hurt you, if you don't stop that. You have a chance to leave, after trying to get in my space. If you stand without walking away, expect the cosmos to respond violently."
  74. (Nox)
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  76.
  77. [18:30] Tension was rising once again, and while it'd have been better to play the role of observer, there are simply some selfish notions that would warrant the flower boy steps beyond the boundary that was his own preference for this moment in particular.
  78.
  79. "It is far too beautiful tonight for one to be so aggressive tonight. Express your dissatisfaction, though I will say this once to the one that is unknown to me." He hums, his violet hue having traced to none other than Hrist.
  80.
  81. "You may fight to your hearts content, though it will be an uphill battle afterwards. I've promised to love you all equally, though for a nameless flower I would not hesitate to pluck you from your earthly bearings."
  82.
  83. Tiernay pauses, canting his head in observation of the two. Would the other heed his warning? Perhaps not, though it wouldn't stop him from clarifying should she not get it.
  84.
  85. "Please, do return to Osrona."
  86. (Tiernay)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88.
  89. [18:33] Nox asks, "Mind moving to the side for a moment, Tiernay?"
  90. [18:33] Nox says, "If I lose you'll have to rescue me! So be ready."
  91. (Danger fight vs Hrist because they didn't walk away.)
  92.
  93. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [18:43] {Won Dangerous RPB against Hrist}
  96. [18:52] And she didn't leave, which wasn't a surprise.
  97.
  98. Even Tiernay advised them to go back to Osrona, but instead they pushed for combat. The outcome wasn't clear, but it seems she had gotten the high ground on this one.
  99.
  100. Physical combatants had an advantage, being physically fit to fight made things difficult. On a tiny bridge like this too? It felt nearly impossible to keep her distance. A sword wasn't a forgiving tool of violence, but the cosmos would never forgive you.
  101.
  102. Sparkling of stars glimmer across the bridge, as her body fades in and out of the realm of light. Sometimes it would even feel like attacks breezed past her, not even touching against her form. As that shining bright light appears, the stars strike back.
  103.
  104. Gravity didn't exist out there, but the feeling of energy being sapped away from your body made it feel as if your magic had been turned against you. Held down and slowed, causing you to feel fatigued.
  105.
  106. And that's when she would appear, shining just like those stars of hers. The cosmos swelling in her palms, blasted out against Hrist's rib cage to send the poor girl flying back. Grinding across the stone bridge, but luckily she only got a few grazes out of such a blast.
  107.
  108. Weak... She was still a young lady, so her magic wasn't entirely strong. But the sapping of Hrist body didn't cease there. Even after she had lost, and been pushed a good distance away. She had lost something much more during this fight, something she wouldn't even miss.
  109.
  110. "It's mine now." She breathes heavily, brushing herself down. She felt a little tired, moving in the face of gravitational pull wasn't fun. "And you have lost... So if you do not require further punishment, take this opportunity to escape!"
  111.
  112. And if she stayed? Well... She would be at this little Felinae's mercy.
  113. (Nox)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [19:04] With the a sudden burst of energy, Hrist is disarmed and sent flying backwards. Her long steel blade pinged like ice shifting as the weather warmed, spots of Nox's blood shoerirng off it.
  117.
  118. Hrist forces herself up with her sword. The steel thing was slicked with blood. From this angle, the star of Leonaus could be seen - an angry Lion in the shape of a star, with its fangs bared.
  119.
  120. Trifling with her had been callous, even though her initial attack had been an involuntary reaction. Her auric eyes are screaming out, though she hasn't said a word since the two had started fighting. At some point during their fight, her clenched teeth had turned into a smile, even if the battle itself was a sodden nightmare. Every detail of the fight stood out to her like a flame in the darkness, every moment lasting an age, their tiniest movements a story of their own.
  121.
  122. For some reason, even after those moments of intense battle, Hrist has a sense of an intense cold shower over her. Panicked, like a trapped beast, she scrambles to grab the blade and runs back to the safety of Osrona.
  123. (Hrist)
