Caught a “scammer” on eBay!
Hi guys, here is my:
eBay Scam Story!
I’m going to be detailing my story of how some "Mike Roberts" tried to rip me off, and I’ll make all his posts in red, and I’ll be putting the funny parts in bold. So it was my second attempt to sell my 8830 on eBay, and this time it was bought by this user:

The second that the auction ended and he was the winning bidder, he sent me the following message:

Hi There,
Am happy to be the winner of your item,i will like to inform you that Am making this purchase for my Son as a surprise birthday gift,
However,i need you to get back to me with your paypal email as i need to verify your paypal status to get assured that you are a verified paypal member before i can send you the money,So please get back to me with your paypal email so as to continue with the transaction.

My PayPal account isn’t linked, so I thought it was a valid question, so I send him a message on eBay with my PayPal account and then I get another message from him:

Dear boooat,
I have checked your status and see that you are verified so i had sent the shipping address to the provided email so please check and confirm as i will send the payment immediately.
Thanks for the business.
So I’m waiting for the email, and I see I got a new email in my "Spam" folder, and I click on it and see it’s from Mike Roberts, so I open it up:

I’m committed to buy your item and to let you know that i m sending the item to my Son who presently in one of west Africa country,Nigeria on missionary program i will be adding $100 for the handling and postage to his current address because i want the item sent Via USPS(Express Mail Service)first class delivery USPS{EMS} this is address bellow.

Then I start getting emails saying that I was paid for the item, but I look at my PayPal account and I don’t see any money in there. So I looked at the two emails I got from PayPal "<service@paypalapprovedfund.com>", and eBay "eBay <shoppingworld@usa.com>". I’ll highlight the funny parts of the message – and keep in mind that these emails had various font sizes, and colors, I’ll post them at the end of the post. :P

What can I do?
I didn’t send the phone or anything, but I want to get him in some kind of trouble besides for leaving him a bad feedback, and eBay most likely doing nothing. Can I get my listing fee back? What is my best course of action now? Thanks to anyone who read through the whole thing. :p
