(Shun) Junko's assistant, though he is more independent by now than he used to be at least.

Personality:
(Shun) To say the least, childish.  He feels like he's experienced a lot in the 10 years he's been alive, but in youkai terms, 10 years might as well be like 1 minute old.  He looks up to Junko and is grateful and loyal to her.  He is very stubborn and he's fairly emotional.  He can be very affectionate.  Overall he is a pretty pure person, but he can get quite angry.  His name just means "cup" which he actually likes because it is simple and helps him to remember what he is.  He likes a lot of things, including the tea that Junko used him to drink when he was an inanimate cup, and he has fond memories of those times.  There are also things like running and feeling the wind on him, drawing things, playing games, swimming, and making things out of ice.  Whenever he finds something interesting in some way, often times the first thing he thinks about is what Junko might say when he goes back and tells her about it.

(Junko) She is a person of simple and plain tastes who lives in a simple and plain house in the brutal underground world.  To her, plainness is true beauty.  Her field of study is what she eats, sleeps, and breathes, literally in many cases.  She sees most worldly matters with the sort of wonder that a 3-year old might, but then later goes right back to her research.  At the same time she is pretty emotionally mature, and has little shame.  If she sees a fellow magician she will likely engage them by babbling about magic excitedly.  She will study whatever is around her that she thinks might advance her specific area of research.  She typically creates an otherworldly and bizarre sort of atmosphere.  She cares about Shun.  She also likes to hear the stories he tells her about things he finds.  She isn't a wanderer type, she mostly stays in her home, where she has lived a relatively quiet life for centuries.  However, she goes out sometimes, in many cases for reasons that might seem bizarre, or to gather reagents or study something.  She had opportunities to get involved with politics etc. but didn't bother.  She knows that a lot of people would want to use Shun for their purposes and looks after him.

(Junko) Can use Shun as a weapon, but never really does that.

Abilities:
(Junko)
She is single-minded for a magician and her field of study is the very basics of magic energy.  Her sheer focus on that leaves her unable to do a lot of things that you might expect a magician with her experience to be able to, however in exchange, what she can do can easily be seen as miraculous, as very few people could understand it.  She has a great deal of mastery of magic energy itself and can manipulate it in a raw form to do things including giving it a tangible form or using it to skillfully boost the magic others do or absorb it to give herself a boost.  She is also immortal to the point of being very nearly absolutely unkillable, can become invulnerable to most forces for up to 5 seconds at a time, magic used against her will (barring very rare exceptions) not only not harm her but actually boost her, tools seem to tend to like her and be supernaturally easy to use in her hands, and luck seems to usually be on her side.  However, she does not know how to so much as light a candle using magic though she could likely learn it easily by now.

(Shun)
1.  (gained after being initially animated) Ability to hold and store energy.  It is not as impressive as his second ability, and more than anything helps him to handle having his second ability in the first place.  He cannot store as much energy as he can potentially produce at one time.

2.  (gained through the experiments) Passive production of energy, which the Shun can control to an extent but cannot stop. The amount of energy, while generally a lot to begin with and potentially reaching far greater heights, is not infinite.

If the production rate is pushed up too much for too long (the length of time gets shorter the higher it is pushed up past a point), then production will stop and will not restart for another three hours. At the time of joining the RP, Shun's body is so accustomed to making use of relatively tiny portions of this energy that to be without it for three hours might be fatal.  If Shun has spent long enough generating and working with an energy, his body becomes accustomed to it and becomes harder to damage with the energy type.  Being exposed to so much energy all the time has altered his body, so he is at peak physical maturity and health, has medium-level (by Gensoukyou standards and for a youkai) physical capabilities, regenerates quite a bit faster than a youkai normally does, and is a lot harder to kill than normal.

Minimizing the production rate of energy most of the time will let Shun safely increase the rate much higher than usual when he needs it. However, even when it is minimized, anyone nearby who is able to notice the type of energy being produced will almost definitely notice, because it is still a lot.

The one saving grace that lets Shun potentially have some chance at being stealthy is that the type of energy being produced can be changed with just a thought. Shun can only produce one type of energy at a time. This ability does not contain any means of converting the energy from one type to another once it has been produced.

In order to produce a type of energy, Shun has to understand the energy intuitively.  Enough exposure to a type of energy (assuming he survives it) will allow him to start to understand it, but the amount of time differs depending on the energy type and how similar it is to any part of his nature, and he just hasn't gone out of his way to learn other types of energies than his current 3:

1.  Magic energy:  Because of his species and the purpose of the experiments done on him, this is the type of energy that comes most naturally to him.  When he produces this type, just being in the middle of it will power up any magic that you do, but the more it powers it up, the more skill it takes just to control the magic and make it work.  Enough of it will start to alter a person or thing, and can even potentially turn an object into a magician youkai like what happened with Yatadera Narumi or himself.  Shun has only been able to learn basic magic, because he produces so much magic energy (when he does) that the basic magic becomes like advanced magic for him and is hard enough to control already.  His magic is how he prefers to fight.  He knows basic ice, water, and wind magics, and that's all so far.
2.  Anti-Thermal Energy:  When Shun spent enough time using his ice magic he came to understand this energy.  The opposite of thermal energy, what it does is lower the temperatures of things.
3.  Mental energy:  When Shun was looking for a type of energy to emit that would hopefully not cause any problems, he stumbled upon this, and tends to spend most of his time emitting minimized amounts of it.  It heightens mental ability including self-awareness in all those affected by it, and depending on the person, can make you feel high or more emotional.

Regardless of the type being produced, the energy can be directed to an extent, with the extent being determined by the Shun's awareness and skill with the energy type.

Biography: (Basically their backstory or how they live their life.)
(Junko) When she was still human, she had a life-changing encounter with Iwanagahime after she tried making offerings to her for a while in hopes of extending her life.  Junko came to admire the goddess' plainness and what she represented, which influenced her personality and how she went about her studies.  To this day she retains this appreciation and makes offerings even though she's by now immortal and ridiculously powerful herself.  She had always been fascinated with magic, too.  She figured she would find one thing and master that, but to this day she is still discovering more things about magic energy.  One day she was sealed underground.  She simply allowed it, broke the seal in short order, and stayed underground.  To this day she still lives there.

One place Junko sometimes goes to is Makai.  To her, the miasma is delicious, and makes her feel high and so full of energy and life and happy.  She has considered living there before.

(Shun) After Junko, who used him when he was an inanimate cup, found out that he had become a youkai from her magic energy, she examined him and found that he had an ability to hold and store energy.  It wasn't that strong yet but it made her want experiment on him, with the aim of seeing if she could make him into a powerful source of magic energy.  He became sort of like her assistant and her experiments succeeded more than she even expected.  The two actually get along well and respect each other and he is still her assistant though has become somewhat more independent by now.

In their home underground, Shun learned his basic magics from a spare tome she had lying around, which she thought she might look into some time next century, and then some time the next century after that, etc.  He viewed his magic energy as a gift from Junko and thought it seemed like a waste to not use it for, well, magic...  Only to find out that it was quite hard for him just to learn a few basic ones because he had too much magic energy.  For a while he couldn't use any of it even though he was a magician youkai, but over time and with her encouragement he gained skill.

Although Shun is a resident of the underground, he visits the surface often.

Each other mainly.  Shun doesn't know nearly as many people as Junko does, and Junko is fairly reclusive.
Junko has met a large number of the people underground by now, given that she has lived for a while.  If there is one canon character Junko is closer to than others, it is Iwanagahime.

Appearance(Describe or use a picture for your character.):
(Shun) About average height, has short pink hair and white irises, and wears a beige knee-length coat with lots of pockets on the inside, which he uses to take things that he finds back with him.  He often wears brown pants with a belt and a light blue shirt.
(Junko) She can look like what she wants to look like, with some limits such as that she can't get bigger than, roughly, the size of Gensoukyou itself.  She probably won't even bother to make herself that big especially seeing as if it happened in Gensoukyou it would be an incident, but we'll have to see.  These days she typically takes the form of a bubbly-looking blonde-haired 10-year old girl with blue eyes and a plain brown dress.
