3:40 PM <Talonair> It's a short drive to the portal location, and the convoy pulls up in front of a run-down looking barnhouse. The doors open after a moment, revealling a good-sized Bleeding Court force, mostly human soldiers wearing the terracotta armour and grey robes of their Court, with a few Ashim, mostly the Scarlet Liúxīng, seven foot tall ceramic constructs with
3:40 PM <Talonair> 'humour' masks and large orbs in place of hands. Behind them the portal is already open, a shimmering tear in reality. One of the soldiers, their leader judging by the more decorated helm, walks up to you. "The portal is open, the ship's waiting for you all." We cam!

3:43 PM <Talonair> On the other side of the portal, you find yourselves in a wide square, ringed by covered walkways, roofs held up by terracotta pillars. The air is warm and the sky is a clear blue, a moderate breeze blows through, carrying with it the tang of sea salt. But, to anyone who has been here before, something in the air is different. 3:43 PM <Talonair> leeched some cheer from the populace, and dotted around are now recruitment posters, directing volunteers to enlist at the nearest recruitment centre. Waiting for you is a Bleeding Court convoy, three vehicles very similar in design to half-tracks. A Bleeding Court soldier ushers you towards the half-tracks.

The docks are as they have always been; tiered, the very bottom tier dominated by warehouses and jetties leading out into the sea proper. You are in the middle of a large staging ground, loitering above you is a vast fleet of other Bleeding Court ships, and at the very centre of the formation
