  1. Lanyards, Part 1
  2.
  3. "Master!"
  4. >you slowly feel yourself waking up as a familiar voice calls to you
  5.
  6. "Masterrrrr get up!"
  7. >you wake up completely when you feel a pair of petite hands rubbing your face
  8.
  9. >you groggily open your eyes and see the smiling face of your beloved Romanian AKM pistol looking down at you as she sits on your chest
  10.
  11. "You're awake!"
  12. >she says excitedly as her cat-like ears twitch and tail is in high spirits
  13.
  14. "Yeah, I'm awake Carmen."
  15. >you say ruffling the hair of the four foot waffegeist making her giggle
  16.
  17. >when you bought the grab bag of Romanian gun parts you had planned to make an AK pistol, but you hadn't foreseen that the bolt assembly would be inhabited by a waffegeist, but it all came together in the end
  18. >to say you'd been surprised when she appeared in human form after you attached the sling point between the pistol grip and receiver then latched onto you calling you master would be a significant understatement
  19.
  20. "Come on, come on!"
  21. >Carmen says bouncing in place on the bed making her collars bell jingle as you rub some gunk out of you left eye
  22.
  23. "Careful or you'll..."
  24. >THUD
  25. "Fall off the bed. Again."
  26. >you say with a sigh
  27.
  28. >looking over the beds edge you see the little waffegeist's rump in the air as she lays on the floor rubbing her head with her ears folded back
  29.
  30. "What did I tell you?"
  31. >you say as you climb out of your bed then scoop up the little nekomimi of an AK into a princess carry
  32.
  33. "Not to jump..."
  34. >she replies with a sniffle
  35.
  36. "Exactly."
  37. >you say as you carry her to the living room then kiss her forehead as you set her on the couch
  38.
  39. >Carmen is still pouting but her ears have perked up so it's not all bad
  40. >despite the surprise of becoming the keeper/master of the little bundle of energy you wouldn't give up your little Carmen for all the money in the world
  41.
  42. "You okay?"
  43. >you ask as you straighten out the OD shorts and blue halter top that her mix matched furniture gives her and then straighten out the collar which somehow translated form a sling mount
  44.
  45. "Yes, master."
  46. >she replies with a nod
  47.
  48. "So what's got you all excited this morning?"
  49.
  50. "I saw the mailman come and drop off a box! It might be my new parts!"
  51. >she says excitedly and just like that her cheerfulness is back with a grin replacing her frown
  52.
  53. "Alright, let's go check."
  54. >you say as you head towards the door while Carmen quickly catches up and clings to your hand
  55.
  56. >opening the door you see a medium sized cardboard box wrapped in shipping tape and Romanian stamps on the doorstep
  57.
  58. "Well, looks like you were right. Go ahead and get the box. I'll get the letters."
  59. >you say before Carmen quickly snatches up the box and runs with it to the couch, while you sort through the bills and junk mail
  60.
  61. >by the time you get the door closed and look up from the various bills
  62. >Carmen is already sitting on the couch and has torn through the tape with her sharp fingernails and is tossing aside the packing paper
  63. >you smile as you watch her happily work her way to the box's contents
  64.
  65. "Yes! Bakelite!"
  66. >Carmen says excitedly as she looks at her new furniture
  67.
  68. "Put it on me! Put it on me!"
  69. >she chants hopping up and down making the collars bell jingling with each hop
  70.
  71. "Okay, okay just let me get the tool kit."
  72. >you say ruffling her hair
  73.
  74. >when you come back with the small tool kit you see the new furniture laid on the coffee table and Carmen out of her shoes, socks, and halfway out of her halter top but stuck with her belly exposed
  75.
  76. "Hey, now take it easy."
  77. >you say sitting next to the little waffegeist
  78.
  79. "But I want my new parts on!"
  80. >Carmen says with a huff
  81.
  82. "Uh huh."
  83. >you deadpan as you poke her ticklish belly earning a squeal of a giggle
  84.
  85. "Gun form would be easier."
  86. >you say pulling Carmen onto your lap
  87.
  88. >she just pouts up at you
  89.
  90. "You know I'm right hun."
  91. >you say with a half smile
  92.
  93. "Fiiiine."
  94. >she replies with a twitch of her ears before slipping back into her familiar gun form
  95.
  96. >you smirk as you tweak the bell hooked onto the sling slot of the AK pistol before laying her on the coffee table and carefully remove the pistol grip and hand guard
  97.
  98. >with practiced motions you easily remove the plastic pistol grip and cedar stained hand guard
  99. >then after a quick wipe down you start fitting the new Bakelite furniture onto the AK pistol being careful not to scratch her finish
  100. >you give the new furniture a once over before being satisfied with its fit then set her on the couch next to you
  101.
  102. "Okay, Carmen. Let's see how you look."
  103. >you say with a smile and in the blink of an eye Carmen switches back to waffegeist form
  104.
  105. >the first thing you notice the new bakelite furniture had changed is that Carmen is now wearing a dark red tracksuit jacket with white stripes, a white tank top shirt bearing the Romanian coat of arms under it, a matching red skirt, white knee high socks, and a pair of track shoes
  106. >her body had also changed a fair bit Carmen still looked like herself, but her body had developed slightly with her hips and chest having gone from flat to clearly female, her hair had become a darker shade of brown, her feline ears and tail had stayed the same almost hazelnut shade of brown, and her feline tail had become slightly longer, but her collar with its bell had stayed the same
  107.
  108. "How do I look?"
  109. >Carmen asked with a big grin
  110.
  111. "To be honest I was expecting something a bit more milspec, but it looks good on you."
  112. >you say with a smile as you ruffle her hair earning a giggle from the cat eared waffegeist
