End of 2nd Era

It's E2Y173 close to the end of second era.The Mernan as we know them today, have begun to be more noticeable in the land of Etror. This angered the Humans living in the neighbouring land of Shoilia. Etror was supposed to be the land that split the Mern race and the Human race. An uncharted and neutral land were either faction were ruler over but this new race Mernan slowly took over. The residents of Shoilia namely the humans living there decided to begin to drive out the Mernans from Etror. This upset the Mern who were befriending and welcoming this new race. The Mern Emprorer traveled to the Shoilia to have a friendly talk to them in hope to peacefully settle this misunderstanding. This was however not how things went. Cian, the Emperor at the time, said his priests had seen a vision of the Mernan being an unclean and unnatural race. If continued living the world could be in danger. Otnel, the Mern’s emperor was outraged by this idea he declared if they don't stop the slavery and misuse of the Mernan they would declare wars within 3 months.

This is only made the humans get to their work faster. More slaves, more slaughter. The Mern begun making alliance and evacuate as many Mernan and found their affiliation for magic, a deep connection to the universal energy and begun teaching them in the art of magic. At this point the Mernans were either with the Merns or enslaved by Cian.

But at E2Y174 the Mern marched through Etror into Shoilia launching an attack. They had promised to keep the deaths at a bare minimum and their targets being the emperor and his priests. The civils at Shoilia just let the invasion happened and the Merns forgave them for their sins. Many Mernans were freed and the death toll was only to those who done unspeakable things to the Mernans but many of the Mernans were simply a helping hand and were actually treated nicely. They marched straight through any force the emperor could muster but they were severely outnumbered and outwitted. They killed the emperor and his priest who were against this race but instead of taking the throne himself, Otnel went to the Oralces. He decided to do this cause if he had conquered the land, he would fall into same greed that those humans had. So he turned to the purest of all orginizations the Oralces. They let female known as Calycrista rule and shape the new kingdoms. With her she bought diversity into the otherwise split lands.
