Samsara

No, they have sentience because they are basically biological humanoid animal life (just made from tissues that were originally manifested to be a god's body). They are sapient because each new iteration is grown with a brain that exactly copies a brain that was scanned and stored as a backup, ultimately these scans derive from scans of four human volunteers. There is nothing artificial about their intelligence.
