PERSONALITY: Youngmi is constantly in a happy mood, she will literally scream in her member's faces for no reason because that's how she acts. She is cheerful and knows how to make the others around his grin with joy. Whether it's cracking a joke, dancing in a circle to a random song, or rapping about her favorite food, she's a silly girl with a playful heart. Although she can be very silly when it comes to becoming a living meme. She pulls faces in disgust with something she doesn't like, she'll make snarky comments to random things she spots, and she can't help but make Vine references every once in a while. Although she's like this for a good reason. She grew up a bit spoiled as a child, so she has her own special, picky taste when it comes to clothes and accessories. She's very devoted to her music and singing. She feels the need to perfect everything on stage, striving to impress the audience. She likes to give help to others, like helping her member's with their singing notes or hitting the right dance move. She even likes to help animals. BACKGROUND: Youngmi was born into a family consisting of her mother, father, and younger sister who was two years her senior. Her family lived in the great city of Chicago up until she was six, so by then she knew English and Korean thanks to her parents. They had to move to Korea, although, to spend time with their passing grandparents, plus the mother of the family wanted her children to connect with their roots. Youngmi was still in contact with few friends from Illinois, so as she grew up in another country, she still had her odd friends to talk to. Thanks to her weird friends back home, she picked up on their freakishly odd actions and started to act like them. If they were talking about a certain meme, she would do the same. If they would make a joke, she would say the exact same thing. That's how she grew into the meme she is today. Throughout her younger years, she made good grades except for in math. That subject always seemed to stump her. Since she used to run around the city when she was younger, she went into track and cross country in school. Now she has a firm, healthy body from all the exercise. As a thirteen year old, she went to a talent show at her school and became interested by the dancing and singing. She soon enrolled into a dance studio nearby her home and danced for two years. One day, her and her friend decided to go to the JYP Entertainment to try and snatch the attention of a trainee recruit. As you can tell, she obviously caught the eye of someone and soon enough she was signing a contract to become a trainee under the company. She trained for four years, in the mean time acting as a backup dancer for a handful of girl groups and once even sang acoustics with Choi Youngjae just to pass time in the JYP Entertainment hallway. She is a very interesting girl who catches the eyes of many.
