  1. First of all, this is all from my PoV. I've been watching my video and trying to see more stuff, unfortunately I forgot to record it with audio but it's pretty clear to understand what's happening.
  2.
  3. In General:
  4.
  5. - We fought 80% of the fight (all rounds together) at their portal, the only round we managed to stay more at our side was R2 and we did it till the 15th kill mark with the help of one of their members. This is one of the most important thing to keep in mind, we always had 27~ people inside portal but we never had all those people at the pile and nowadays it's pretty easy to tank 22~ people unless you get rng'd. I was watching my video and it took me 25 seconds when I left cc to get back in the pile (without banking) and this is too much considering it could be 10 seconds and there's always more than 1 person returning.
  6.
  7. Possible ways to fix:
  8. * Try to pile 90% of the time people towards our portal. For example, if we are on the south side pile people South East/West in the clump or at their melee pile if you see they are running South.
  9. * When they are getting dragged try to exploit it better and chase their pile, call out to everyone bind the furthest person on South and possible pile that guy. This requires help from people that are echoing to call out names and get the better pile out of it.
  10. * Don't be afraid to drop piles if we are at our side/middle and they don’t have a large kill lead. If we manage to keep the fight towards our portal we increase the ko power and have a much better chance to comeback/get a lead.
  11. * Binds needs to be on point. As a mager myself I know that sometimes the splashes are real and if this happen it might be better to drop the pile (my last point). If you got the bind you should do your best to get the re-bind, keep in mind that if you get the full bind you have the chance to blast twice and if you get only half bind (when they are praying mage) you can just blast once. (Considering you attack the pile right after you threw the bind).
  12.
  13. - I feel like in particular we pilled a few tank baits which you should always try to avoid piling them, most of them stay away from the clump and are always ready to tank at the first time he get one arrow/bind threw at him. Also, if they are outside of the clump they have more time to react to the pile and as I said they are ready for it. As I mentioned before, aim to pile people towards our side, every time you have the chance to do it you should go for it, their melee pile (when they are getting dragged towards our portal) is the best option for this and should be used more as piles options, and this is the only exception to piling outside of the clump. And another thing I feel it should be worked more is echoing. The caller should be the one who talks the most but whatever info you have to help him get better piles you should do it. For a quick example, whenever the caller is trying to get a click and hold it and you see that person moved from that spot you should call it out.
  14.
  15. - Another thing I noticed it's that we were never really in control of the fight and sometimes not even reacting to it. What I mean by that is that we don't adapt according to the fight, we are always on that automatic position of keep piling and tanking but there's other stuff that we can do to get in control of the fight or just react to it. Pay attention whenever they have a huge melee pile so you can change your overhead prayer to melee and switch back to range when they switch to range again. It's not that hard to see and should be called by someone who's echoing so it's even easier to keep that on track. And this is one thing many teams/clans have been pulling off, whenever they are in the box clump and don't have a pile for 5~ seconds you need to be ready for them to get their melee out and try to 1 hit someone. And I feel this is one thing we should try more often and caught people off guard, give a few seconds so everyone can get melee out/pot/turn on melee buffers in this time I feel that the caller should be able to find a good pile.
  16.
  17. - And for the last thing I’m going to point out is the tanking. I know many things can happen but everyone should be aware to tank and those who are on the edges of the clump or in our melee pile should be extra ready. Don’t go to our melee pile wearing hides + scimitar, try to get at least your skirt/legs and kite on so you have extra defense. Remember to keep track of their pile and what they are doing, if they are piling someone who’s under you remember to move 1 square and be ready to tank because they could be holding a click on you. Try to keep your inventory interface open (unless you are doing something such as binding or switching prayers). If you think you are going to be the pile, hover your cursor over your tank gear. You already should have overhead prayer on so just wear your tank gear and then go for quick prayer/eat. I know this is warring 101 and those are basics stuff, but when you improve on little things you open more things to improve on.

  19. All of this is my opinion and I don’t mean to offend or be rude to anyone. We are a clan, we win as a clan and we lose as a clan, so this isn’t something pointing to a specific person or something like that, it’s something that us as a group should try to work on and I’m pretty sure that we can do even better or I wouldn’t be here wasting my time writing this ;p.
