Backstory for Group Turtle, Ben and Boyeet

Arvid Abildgaard backstory

Arvid Abildgaard was a firebolg born to a regular firebolg tribe up in the mountains, away from all the beauty of nature such as forests and teeming wildlife. He only knew the cold, dark truth that was the artic peaks of the mountaintops. Then one day, the firebolg was taken down from the mountains as part of an exchange trip between a group of adventures that wanted to chart and analyze the tops of these mountains. He was flabbergasted and amazed by the trees, the extreme amount of life that surrounded the countryside and the young firebolg fell in love with all of it. He begged one of the adventurers, a druid to teach him the ways to protect and indulge in this beauty, leading him to leave his tribe and never returned, instead settling down in a small cottage with the older human druid, who taught him the very basics of his magic before blasphemy befell them. The druid and firebolg had been in a dispute with a wood company in charge of cutting down large amounts of trees for furniture producing, enough that lead to the deaths and de-sheltering of many of the organisms around. The druid was at first rather peaceful, trying to deal and reach an agreement with the company... before the company hired an assassin to have him killed. Distraught and angry, the stoic firebolg used the small amounts of druid magic he knew to plot his revenge, and after a well though out plan, he killed the various choppers of trees, and went all the way to try and kill the representor of the company, before being caught by the local law force and brought to justice. There he met Caspian, who slowly filled his head with plans of revenge and hatred, the idea to use a source of great power to get rid of those who will pollute the beauty of his earth. He wanted revenge, and the right to protect what he loved... and he would do anything to achieve it.

casspian was once a petty thieve who stumbled upon the greatest treasure one could find, he found an ancient looking lanter with a blue fire inside. One day while running from the guards, the lantern fell and shattered, he swore he heard the flame call to him and when he reached out to touch it the flame scarred his hands and was absorbed by him, using his new found powers he did more petty crimes and thought he was invincible with his weak magics, however he could not be more wrong. he got caught a week and a half later and was charged for grand larsony. He was celled with Arvid, and over the course of their two year imprisonment before their escape, they became inseperable friends. as they escaped they came along a slave caravan and managed to free a man who they deemed necessary for his extra muscle and pure might; this was adewale. -TURTLE'S CHAR AND CONNECTIONS

Adewale Malenway was originally a simple farmer. However, his village was shortly conquered by some demons who had esaped from a portal near his village. Adewale spent countless years as first a simple supplicant, but soon fought his way to the top, and became a gladiator fighter for the hellspawn. Despite his position, this meant nothing to the Hellspawn, and he was continuosly beaten, whipped, and burned until he could barely stand. However, Casspian and Mark saved him from the enslavers. Adewale swore to repay the two, or to save their lives, but his time enslaved changed him mentally. -BOYE'S CHAR

Arvid and Casspian became steadfast friends, pulled to each other by the promises of obtaining power for each their own device They escaped the prison cells through a makeshift plan of their own, involving a toilet, a spoon... and plenty of hard labour. Once out, it didn't take long for they to get into trouble, as once there, they started to think of what else they could use to provide them with a boost and a chance to really make their goals reach their fruition. A traveling slave caravan stopped their path, where there, they met Adewale. With little to no cash, and Arvid's nature soul finding free-spirit reigns over anything else, they attacked the poorly guarded group and released Adewale, who quickly with heart full of gratitude, swore to repay the two and aid them in their endeavours. This brought to birth a new group of 3 misfits, who seeked their freedom for a new chance to rebuild.
