  1. Our mission: We want to make dealing with OpenBVE easier, we want to spread OpenBVE around the world, and we want to make finding and downloading routes as easy as possible. Since many routes in the network are no longer available or are difficult to reach (for example, on Asian websites), we decided to host selected routes. Why do we do this? Well, a track author wants to give other people fun with his work, he wants it to be played. But what if an author becomes inactive and no longer hosts his routes? Then you should, according to some opinions from some OpenBVElers, quietly sit next to it, and keep track of it until the track is forgotten. But we do not want that. We divorced ourselves from watching old routes die and become forgotten. Therefore, we host routes that are no longer offered by their author on the worldwideweb. But please note, we do NOT want to compete with authors! We do not want to harm any author! We just want to continue to offer this great work on the web, so that in a few years this route will be available too. If you're an author, and you're still against having your track hosted here, feel free to write a short message to openbve-archiv-de@protonmail.com, and we'll redirect the users to your page, or delete completely the entry of our website. But please note! We will never host routes of active authors with their own website on our site! Instead, the links then lead to their very own author page, so them can reach even more users. If we have made a mistake and we have accidentally hosted your route, then we are terribly sorry, and we ask you to send an e-mail to openbve-archiv-de@protonmail.com, and we will fix mistakes as soon as possible! But by now we do not want to stop you any longer, have fun browsing our entries!
