Only a Heavenly Dao fragment could conjure the scenes of a world's creation.

The Dao of Heaven was the laws that all myriad beings in the universe followed. It was unique.

At that moment, in a gigantic square outside the palace, a giant held a bloody ax as he cleaved down heavily at the palace.

The force of giant's ax was redoubtable!

This strike probably could destroy the entire mountain, much less the palace.

Just as the giant's ax landed, a strong repulsive force blasted out from the palace.

Powerful shock waves radiated out, sending the bronze giant retreating!

His soul was extremely powerful, so he had an upper hand when it came to array formations.

With that said, Dreamlight flew forward. He shook his finger as a terrifying force that stabbed at people's minds condensed into a gigantic needle.

Upon seeing the needle, disciples who had relatively weaker souls even felt as though their eyes were bleeding.

"We'll die! Don't look at it any longer!" Steward Zhou said softly.

He bore the mental assault with great difficulty. The needle's target was not them, but just a remnant part of its might left their souls unstable. Legend had it that Dreamlight could cause large numbers of warriors to die before him with a mere gaze. From the looks of it, the legend was true!

"Go!" Dreamlight said lightly as the needle instantly shot out and stabbed into the array formation seal.

Boom!

A loud boom sounded as the surface of the palace produced ripples that made seem it like a fleeting dream, an unreal object. The Soul disciples revealed looks of joy when they saw the palace undergo such a change.

However, Dreamlight's gaze turned heavy. At that moment, a loud boom sounded from the palace as the ripples surged out like a tidal wave. It formed a spear-wielding blurry figure that appeared lofty.

Suddenly, the figure aimed its spear tip ahead and moved, heading straight for Dreamlight in an abrupt assault!

Makes sense that lin ming would leave it.. Im seriously dissapointed that yi yun is basically taking a lesser path than lin ming though, without the phoenix blood and asura+immortal inheritance. He has a 9 leaf supreme yin yang fruit but isnt even utlizing a great law literally below only creation destruction. Then again, he is younger than an empyrean lin ming We had some fucking potential dual wielding of sabers and swords but this is just lin ming but less at this point ffs

LM already unified Life–Death laws with Asura’s HD. The two combined form the extremum of the internal and external universe, thereby transcending True Divinities. Ergo, Yi Yun has no need for two separate inheritances when he has the apical inheritance. Concerning bloodlines, those were used at Great World King and below for the most part. I don’t recall if the Asura bloodline was too useful at Empyrean, but LM was mostly searching for incredibly pure devilish energy at the time anyway. So, yeah, DL Yi Yun has no need for a phoenix or Asura bloodline when he has Asura’s ultimate lucky chance; he only has to better his internal universe. Notably, he’s gestating the Dragon Emperor bloodline. Royalty among True Dragons are at least peak Empyrean, I think. That was way back in “Martial World,” but I recall a mention of phoenixes becoming True Divinities through the nine rebirths and Dragons can probably match that if they fulfill their potential. So, yeah, Yi Yun is in Lin Ming’s tier. LM had the Cube and it allowed him to better his understanding of Life–Death and merge it with Asura’s stuff that he mostly understood because of Akashic Heavens appearing during his Ninefall and comprehending the concept of 33 Heavens. Yi Yun has that inheritance and only needs to understand it. Notably, the Purple Crystal allows him to understand anything with energy through the energy vision. So, he’s ready to cultivate to LM’s level given enough resources (LM took a lot of energy from something ~150 billion years old and had seniors help him absorb more energy and then Asura helped him absorb until he reached the limit of energy density—the peak of True Divinity realm—but the process took something like 10,000 years). I don’t see how this is a lesser path. Yi Yun is currently searching for the Heavenly Dao fragment + bettering his body through lightning soon. It seems as though he’ll soon become a Godly Monarch, perhaps even through this adventure.

"It's just remnant psyche force. It has already been weakened over billions of years. Does he think that he can prevent me from entering with just a projection?" Ghost Ming snorted coldly.

Dreamlight nodded and said as well, "That's right. Human Emperor's nomological insight is heaven-defying. This remnant psyche projection has inherited the Human Emperor's laws, but the energy within a psyche projection is limited. He might be able to use an ailing projection to test juniors, but it won't be enough against us."

Even in the Chaos Heavens, anyone who attained the Godly Monarch realm was a pinnacle existence. There were five Godly Monarchs present, all founding patriarchs of their factions.

"Human Emperor is too arrogant. Let us repeatedly attack and drain this psyche projection's strength."

As Ghost Ming spoke, he took the initiative to step forward.

Meanwhile, ghostly shadows appeared in the area around Ghost Ming, turning into what appeared like the River of the Netherworld, a perilous ground.

He even felt for an instant that the ghost domain seemed to be giving his opponent the advantage.

The projection was the true hegemon!

"How is this possible!?" Ghost Ming's expression changed drastically.

The spear swept forward!

The seven devils were instantly reduced to nothingness; yet, the spear did not lose its momentum—the spear tip was coming straight for Ghost Ming!

Golden Winged Celestial Peng sneered. It was not like he had never met someone who opposed him since becoming a Fey Thearch, but the only junior who dared to do so was Yi Yun.

Divineheart smiled faintly. Yi Yun landed and stood beside him. The Chaos Crystals which he did not finish absorbing had all been taken away by him. As for the Heretical God Lightning, he had stored it away in his Ascending Dragon Cauldron.

On his trip to the God Confusion Valley, Yi Yun's murdering and seeking of treasures had benefited him with massive amounts of refined ores, Chaos Crystals, and various herbs. Of course, none of these could compare to the final Heavenly Dao fragment!
