¬ Background: Jeon Nahee was born on May 9th, 1996, in Gwangju, South Korea. She grew up with an older sister, a mother, and a father, and had a pretty normal childhood, but she always had a passion for music along the way. When she was just a young girl, she was watching an IU performance, she realized she wanted to be an idol. Years passed, and eventually she audioned in 2012, and placed 12th at the Seoul auditions. She didn’t think she’d be accepted, but she did get a callback. She was very grateful to get another audition, and worked even harder than for the first audition to prepare for this callback. She could not mess this up, otherwise everything she’d worked so hard for would be gone. This time she placed 2nd, and eventually began training at JYP Entertainment. She trained in vocals and worked hard to improve her dancing, and is now a main vocalist. In 2017 just several months before debut, she was in MNet’s Idol School, where she was ranked B. After being eliminated just weeks after the series premiere, she returned to JYP immediately to continue immensely preparing for debut.
