Cloverstar Gathering Announcement

As the announcements from the others quieted, Cloverstar cleared his throat and lifted his head. They had been through a lot lately, and it weighted on him; but they were here now, together, as one strong group.. as the treaty intended. **"Friends from all Clans, we come here today as our forefathers have wanted; a night of peace and discussions, putting our inherit differences aside for a time to understand one another and become closer, to take on any threat that may threaten our territories _together._"** The ginger tabby tom paused, glancing briefly at Howlingstar, and then back down to the crowd.

**"Lately, the path our ancestors have left us has been tested, but it has once again held true. RiverClan was forced from our home by a flood, but by the grace of both StarClan and the kindness of ShadowClan, we have been given shelter once again-- and we are both stronger now, as true allies in these times of hardship. Our two clans will sleep and hunt together as one, until the waters recede and I may take my warriors home."** The lithe tom dips his head gratefully towards Ravenstep, showing outward appreciation for her. But in his heart, was a creeping sense of dread.. He knew StarClan was no longer with them, but there was no need to cause a mass panic. Not here, not now..

As he sat up a little straighter, he opened his jaws to speak once more; **"I also bring with me today bright new warriors of RiverClan! Once called Brookpaw, that same young tom is now called Brookleap, and he has done us all proud with his courage. Alongside him, we also welcome Nightfire, who has taken some time to find his footing, but he has come a long way. "** Cloverstar looked at the two warriors proudly, then stopped for another brief pause.

**"RiverClan has also lost great lives due to these conditions. May we remember Raccoonpaw, Sandpaw, and Leopardtuft fondly."** The tom lowered his head, closing his eyes. **"StarClan watch over them, and they in turn, watch over us."** He looked up again and flicked an ear, then stepped back and returned to sitting.

**"That is all from RiverClan. May StarClan light our paths in these difficult times."**
