[2015-12-16 19:18:52] <Falconis> It’s a rainy afternoon in New Castelia. The pitter patter of falling drops accompanies you as you’re chauffeured to the meeting point, a penthouse suite on the top floor of the Cameron building. Your driver, a silent young woman with piercing blue eyes, guides the luxurious SUV into the underground car park and escorts you to the elevator.
[2015-12-16 19:18:52] <Falconis> The elevator rides up the side of the building, glass walls giving you an unrivalled view of the city as you rise. Grey clouds roil overhead, making the city seem darker than it would normally be at this time of day but you can still make out pedestrians making hurried movements and bright yellow cabs trying to get fares.
[2015-12-16 19:18:52] <Falconis> The elevator stops at the 80th floor and you get out and are promptly lead to another elevator on the inside. The young woman swipes a keycard at the door and you’re taken up to the top floor. Number 100. The penthouse.
[2015-12-16 19:20:42] <Falconis> With a soft *ding* the doors open and you're giving your first view of the place you'll probably be seeing quite often from now on. Floors of lacquered darkwood stretch out before you into a wide gathering area with seating. A grand piano sits on a dias nearby and a nearby cabinet seems to be meant for other instruments as well
[2015-12-16 19:21:33] <Falconis> Logs crackle and pop in a real fireplace  and above it, a large screen hangs on the wall.
[2015-12-16 19:22:24] <Falconis> Hallways stretch out leading to other places you'll discover later but for now, your escort leads you to the waiting area, where you'll meet with the others like you. Called to serve.
[2015-12-16 19:25:40] <Falconis> In time, you all gather and the meeting begins in earnest. The young woman turns on the screen and a man wearing fine suit appears to face you. He is seated in a dark room, the light of a fire serving just enough for you to make out the fine materials surrounding him, the gold rings on his fingers and the lit cigar in his hands. His features remain shrouded in darkness.
[2015-12-16 19:26:47] <Falconis> He smiles, and begins speaking. "Good afternoon, candidates. Thank you all for joining me this evening. I would go through the whole song and dance number, but I'm sure you've all heard it before."
[2015-12-16 19:27:23] <Falconis> "Instead, why don't you all introduce yourselves. You'll be working together for a long time if all goes well, after all"

[2015-12-16 19:29:54] <VictorR> Victor nods in acknowledgement of the statement, even if some corner of his mind finds cause to disagree. He fixes the collar of his coat, and glances at the other assembled individuals.

[2015-12-16 19:33:29] <Sigurd> Sigurd raises an eyebrow at the womans words "My name is Sigurd Sempiternus, it is a pleasure to meet you all"
[2015-12-16 19:34:31] <Sandoval> Alex eyes the others carefully before speaking.  "Call me Alex. I look forward to our work together."
[2015-12-16 19:35:24] <Denholm> "Name's Denholm McShain. That's just about all I have left now." Danny leans on his cane and looks around the room.

[2015-12-16 19:43:40] <Falconis> At his words the young woman, Ice?, turns on a projector. A birds eye view of New Castelia is displayed on a white screen that slides smoothly down from the ceiling for this purpose. Names of important landmarks, people and events are displayed in turn.
[2015-12-16 19:45:23] <VictorR> Victor sniffs quietly in distaste at the rather primitive audio-visual technology.
[2015-12-16 19:46:53] <Falconis> "This world is trash, it's inhabitants are garbage. The current status quo is stale and broken. Humanity still suckles upon the rotting corpse of civilization and cares not that its rancid milk does nothing but breed suffering and waste."
[2015-12-16 19:47:33] <Falconis> The tip of his cigar glows once more briefly and his smirk cuts through the shadow
[2015-12-16 19:48:38] <Falconis> "Unlike my peers. I am not satisfied to simply carve out an island of prosperity in this otherwise hateful existence."
[2015-12-16 19:48:49] <Falconis> "The world will be shaken and eyes opened."
[2015-12-16 19:50:08] <Falconis> "But you... perhaps don't have to care about that. What you need to know is that i will pay handsomely for services rendered. And that service, in your case, is chaos"
[2015-12-16 19:51:16] <Falconis> "The Teams of recent years serve a good example for what i wish you to be and the jobs you will have to undertake. What you do beyond that is none of my concern."

[2015-12-16 19:57:12] <Sandoval> "Then I suppose that's our first order of business.  Causing nameless chaos wouldn't accomplish much."

[2015-12-16 19:57:42] <Sandoval> Alex folds their arms, glancing around at the others in the room.  "Any suggestions?"
[2015-12-16 19:57:47] <RavenNLN> "Chaos is chaos, name or no."
[2015-12-16 20:00:09] <Sandoval> "Maybe to you.  But if we want to be anything more than small-time criminals cooped in a penthouse, we'll need a banner.  Something for people to recognize and fall behind."

[2015-12-16 20:02:22] <VictorR> "A token representing the new world that will arise from our chaos, and the path we embark upon."

[2015-12-16 21:04:52] <Falconis> She reaches out and opens the cover. On the screen where pokemon details are normally displayed is instead a map of New Castelia. The beacon blips soundlessly.

[2015-12-16 21:06:00] <VictorR> He directs Turk into the rear of the vehicle, then climbs into the backseat.

[2015-12-16 21:26:26] <Falconis> You head out of the car park and make your way towards the Truck. Traffic is heavy in some places but you manage to... no wait no there's traffic everywhere. The rain has really done a number on you. Thankfully the truck should be suffering a similar fate, but it's a long hour before you're able to catch up to it.

[2015-12-16 21:41:12] <Falconis> The air is filled with wireless signals. Kids playing games on their systems, computers accessing what faint hotspot signals they can get, one guy doing a paid podcast of the news from his car
[2015-12-16 21:42:14] <Falconis> You seek, and you find. There is indeed a wireless connection in the truck. A simple gps system updating it's progress..

[2015-12-16 21:44:12] <Sandoval> "I thought the original plan was to wait until they pass into the tunnel."
[2015-12-16 21:45:09] <VictorR> "I meant as more of a 'Are we prepared?' question, my apologies. I'm as poised to try this as I can get."
[2015-12-16 21:45:50] <Sandoval> "My apologies then.  I'll try to have us in the tunnel before them so we can be ready.  If you have flashlights or goggles, grab them now."

[2015-12-16 21:48:09] <Falconis> You manuver as best you can to edge the truck out in arriving in the tunnel, but even so you only make it in a few car lengths ahead of them .
