  1. [16:26] Magne pressed a gentle kiss unto the girls forehead, smiling softly as Jamey began her preparations for learning!

  4. [16:41] After entering Magne's home-

  6. Jamey joins Magne inside, it was warm, and soft. The chair made for a comfortable environment. This was where she'd learned holy magic, l-like specifically this chair. She let her holy aura continue to flare around them, to fill the room. It spiraled around her, even as she sat she channeled her holy magic constantly. She'd clearly honed her ability.

Magne's affection only improved her mood that much more, "Alright-" ,she looked on at Magne, eager and ready to learn, "I was going to ask maybe first a few things, I don't know as much about the differentiation-" ,she pulled out her book that held her runic calligraphy drafts and assortment of random here-and-there notes, really it was a mess this, "Ah, here."

She let her finger follow the line of text as it spanned to paragraphs down the page, quoting a small detail of the 'bless' incantation, "-White magic, I remember Alya she mentioned the glowing orbs and the smite spells. She mentioned they were 'The Golden Magic', this has been directly identified as White Magic. I have honed a practical use of the golden magic, but-" ,she sighed, "For some reason this technique is beyond my individual understanding."

  12. "I've read briefly on this, the wonderous thing this 'White Magic' can do. Apparently some time long ago, servants of light would walk the land, undoing all crimes that had been done on creation 'when allowed' I suppose by this 'light'. I know the incantation itself is one of the more simple techniques, but from everything I've read it is a magic almost completely different than holy magic. Wondering if maybe you knew anything on this? I could use clarity on the subject."

  14. She looked back to Magne waiting, eager for her input.

  17. [16:55] As they sat down and Magne fired up the fireplace, she felt that certain something radiate from Jamey. The Light of Righteousness itself; Holy magic. She's certainly been practicing with it, given she was able to exude that radiant energy outwards from her at all times. It floated around the room, enveloping all in its comforting arms.

  19. The Drakanites own constantly spilled from her too, radiating from her golden wings almost constantly. Her mood her improved in the last few months as things had actually begun to go right for once in her life and it was evident by the constant calm that floated out from her in heavy waves.

  21. "Ask anything you want." Magne hummed, looking over towards that book. There was nothing she could actually read properly within the pages, all of it different runic inscriptions and Divine language, but once she flipped over to the page about Blessing, it wasn't that difficult to follow. The Captain had been well educated unto the basics of literacy back in Sluthia and she'd only improved with time.

  23. "Now," she began, humming softly as she gathered her thoughts. "I don't really know anything about White Magic itself, other than that it is something based around healing. Holy Magic affects the mood and outlook of both those who wield it, and those who are around it, in very gentle ways. Perhaps instead of focusing on the combative parts of those magicks like Alya and I, White Magic focuses on that healing, soothing energy."

  25. "It's all about intent, Jamey. If you intend to harm for good, then it'll come out as damaging energy. Perhaps if you intend purely to heal, then your magicks will start to adapt and change. I know as my protective intent swelled with my circuitry, I manifested Holy magic. I know that once my mood improved, I was able to increase the intensity of my magic to shift it entirely into light. Perhaps your drive to nurture, heal andhelp could eventually push your circuitry into developing magicks along the lines of those used by the servants of old? Hm. ."

  27. Magne rubbed her chin, a metaphorical lightbulb appearing above her head!

  29. "Perhaps with a bit of research, you could find the tomb of one of these servants. Maybe we could investigate it to see what secrets we could uncover. In the mean time, focus on that assistive magic of yours. You truly wish to need to help. If your blessing invigorates a body and spirit with light. . Then maybe you need to weave your own energies in with theirs. Weave your own life force in with theirs. Bolster them, mesh with them. Leave a part of yourself in them?"

It was all just theoretical to the Drakanite; she'd taken on the more offensive forms of Holy magic during her learning, driven by the need to draw her weapon to protect that which she held dear. Jamey was not the kind to fight, so her approach and mindset towards the mystical arts could produce different results!

  34. [16:58] Jamey says, "A p-part of myself-? Hmm..."

  36. [17:10] Jamey sits, and ponders on this. She far proffered the supportive role than the offensive one in any combat setting; likewise, she'd grown to be fascinated with just what holy magic could do. She knew that in its healing there were certainly limitations, but she wondered, maybe if the problem was that she'd overlooked the white magic. She wondered then, what could such a magic do. She snapped back to reality after a moment or two, and asked then, "W-Wait, their tomb-?"

  38. She was taken back by this, "I-I mean, if what I have read is true, these are sacred users of the magic. I-" ,she stopped for a moment to hold her chin before she continued, "I-I wonder..."

  40. She sat again in-silence before she asked then, "Do you think maybe, we could commune with them? If such a thing was possible, perhaps I could query them directly on the matter of the spell."

  42. She'd sigh though, "W-We'd need to be very respectful though, the thought of approaching such a holy sight for personal gain, s-sickens me-" ,she shivers, "I th-think I will look into that though. Could definitely be crucial in my studies."

[17:23] Magne knew the idea of raiding the tombs of those whom Jamey revered might be an extreme suggestion, but she also knew that it'd be the best one; White Magic was an ability that very few in recent years had been able to harness and, as such, knowledge of the art within the boundaries of the ordinary would be scant. Acquiring it straight from the source would be the best option.

  47. "It isn't for personal gain. Sure, you may be the one learning the art, but you're doing it to help others. You're doing it to carry on the legacy of those servants. It is a selfless goal that I'm sure they'd be supportive of; only foolish people would hide such beneficial knowledge from the world."

  49. On the topic of communing with them. .

  51. "Perhaps if we find a way to commune with the spirits of the long departed, we could do such a thing. Or, perhaps, the spirit may already be waiting for us IN the crypt. Fate has a strange way ofguiding those deserving towards their ultimate goal."

  53. Her hand reached out to ruffle Jameys hair as she thought onwards. .

  55. "Do your research and I'm sure you'll find the location of one crypt. We can head there together perhaps with Lynette, though given her. . plans, I think it may be a good idea to keep her well away from spirits."

  60. [17:28] She nodded agreeing, "While I love Lyn dearly, I don't think I'd bring her along for this. Besides, she's not one for... Subtlety or-" ,she stopped herself, "A-Anyhow. Yes, I'll head off to do some research on the subject, thank you for the help Magne, it's been most useful. I think I'll actually ask around about this."
