I want to become a Deputy Sheriff for many reasons, one of the main reasons is how the crime rate has increased to an extent where people are moving out of the towns and going to another town. This is serious and really bad for us because as we lose people, we will lose money and all of that. As a Deputy Sheriff (If I get it) I will work to the best of my ability to make sure everyone stays safe, I don't want people to have them bad news where they find out that their family member was killed in a gun fight crossfire or someone was mugged, I have had experiences with these things and I did not like it, I hated it, I was scared... and I never want anyone to ever feel what I felt back then because I regret walking down that alleyway or on the street at night, People get hurt and it is bad because families worry about their relatives and it is our job to help them. The main other reason I want to become a Deputy Sheriff is to get more involved and pay back the city with a helping hand to clean up the street of crime and make sure no one ever gets threatened again or mugged or even kidnapped... because these kind of things happen and you would more likely never expect to happen to a person, a kind person like yourself but no, it happens to all kinds of people and it changes you, you are scared for your life when you walk down the street at night, You get worried, scared and this is what I want to prevent from happening if I get Deputy Sheriff, this is probably my only goal in the Department and as the motto states, "To Protect and Serve" and I want to follow this and give back to the community by help cleaning up the streets of crime.
