HOYEONG grew up in ulsan where he lived his first eight years before moving to seoul after his dad got a permanent job in seoul as a manager. he started going to a school where he knew no one, but quickly gained good friends. after listening to an rap artist he quickly wanted to become a rap artist and soon enough he discovered dancing. he talked to his dad about starting going to a dance studio and his father agreed.
soon rap only became something he did on his spare time as dance took up the all his afternoons. at the age of fourteen he auditioned for fnc entertainment, but left the entertainment a year later because he didn't like being under a management.
