A Clan Wolf Pilot by origin, Ridian was a Trueborn Cadet Mechwarrior who fled when Phelan Kell helped Wolf in Exile assets escape the Refusal War.

Always at odds with authority, the young Mechwarrior never believed he fit in with the clan way of life. Life under the warden wolves had only
strengthened his urge for his own personal freedom, and once Wolves in Exile had reached the inner sphere he soon found a way to slip out from under
his superiors nose weeks before his trial of position.

For the next four years Ridian went from system to system, keeping questionable company. In 3066, Ridian signed on to a risky deep space mining survey mission undertaken by a group of mercenaries. All seemed to well, until they were discovered by a wing of Clan Jade Wolf aerospace fighters.

Ridian awoke after the attack to find the rest of the mercenaries dead, and himself taken as a bondsman by Clan Jade Wolf forces.
