NAME: Runagate "Kiwi-chan" Lenstar

GENDER: Female

AGE: Runagate's age is indeterminate, but it's assumed that she's lived for thousands and thousands of years. As a demon, it's safe to say that these claims are true. However, by demon standards, Runagate is fairly young, so an accurate estimate is to say that she's in the 1000 to 2000 year old range. Those who try to find out her real age are usually silenced - either by pacifist means or through violence, so good luck trying to get that out of her.

SPECIMEN: Runagate is a "succubus," a female demon who acts as a seductress or enchantress, preying on males young and old, and draining their life force or other sources of energy for their sustenance, much like a vampire. Succubi are generally extremely beautiful, and have the ability to take the shape of women who their victims desire. They usually enter through the dreams of the male, alternatively, it appears in a corporeal form to seduce them. Runagate is one of these succubi, but she's a little different. Runagate is able to eliminate her magical signature, so that she may perfectly blend in with a normal crowd of people. This was because she was the result of an unholy union between a demoness and a male. Usually, humans are scared of them, but apparently this particular succubus was surprised of this male's willingness to donate his energy - they sired a child, and though the father died, the mother absorbed his spirit so she possessed two mentalities - Runagate was the product of this union and as a result possesses abilities where she can blend in with a normal human community.

NICKNAME HISTORY: Runagate's nickname, the name she would rather be known by - "Kiwi-chan," is because of a bunch of simple things. Firstly, she really likes to eat kiwis. Secondly, she has a fascination for kiwi birds. Thirdly, her favourite color is the color of the kiwi skin. She has a tendency to try and act like a kiwi bird around her human friends, which earns the ire of most demons she often interacts with, calling her too "childish" and not taking her role seriously enough. Runagate doesn't really give a shit, so one could surmise that her nickname is also a symbolism of her carefree personality.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: As mentioned earlier, Runagate is the horrible result of the union between a succubus and a willing human man. The succubus, Lady Tyrades, lusted for a young man, Viscount Vyvien Lenstar, who resided in a rich, yet gaudy mansion. Vyvien was a virtuous and strong man, the perfect example of what one would call a "gary stu" in modern times - fortunately nobody's really sure if the child inherited those specific traits. Anyway, Tyrades wanted this man, and schemed ways to earn her love. One night, on a full moon, Tyrades was going to make her move - but it turned out Vyvien already knew - and then they had hot, steamy sex or something. Runagate really didn't want to know the details of her birth, but it was probably some sort of fetish-filled bonanza or something. Anyway, Runagate was the result and Vyvien died thanks to all that sex. Devastated, Tyrades absorbed Vyvien's entire being and the two ended up accidentally merging - maintaining Tyrades' body but giving her an ethereal voice that would ring out at random intervals.

Runagate was trained by Tyrades on the art of seduction - but soon learned of her power to completely nullify her magical signature... The mother surmised that this was thanks to Vyvien's unnaturally people-hated powers... The ability to become inconspicuous, this was truly a great boon for Runagate. As at some point, the child Runagate's magical potency was soon revealed, there needed ways to mitigate this and avoid suspicion by exorcists and warlocks looking to banish these mythical creatures. Runagate decided to prey by finding various schools where she could easily blend in... About a thousand years later, in the modern age, after finding relatively little success in the superstition and occultish Dark and Middle Ages. At present, Runagate is trying to scour the world for potential victims, and she wants her ending to be very similar to Lady Tyrades', and she's having a difficult time. Runagate's trying so hard, she has contacts all over the world. She has never aroused suspicion due to her nullification of the creepo signature.

APPEARANCE

Runagate is very child-like in appearance, as she has learned about the modern culture and built herself in order to capture the eyes of many, including people that look her age, people older, and also pedophiles. She really doesn't care, because she ends up draining their life energy anyway. She's very short, she barely reaches the five foot mark, standing at four feet eleven. Lady Tyrades isn't very approving of such, but she understands it is a way for Runagate to harvest souls in this current day and age. She also weighs as much as she should at that height, a reasonable ninety pounds. She has a demon appearance too, but we'll get into that later. In her normal form, in every day life, she has really long jet-black hair. It's so long, it almost touches the ground. It's also very clean and well-kept, for some reason. One would suppose Runagate is a neat-freak. Her expression seems to be timid, except for when she has found her prey, where she becomes truly demonic. Her eyes are a suspicious red, but when she looks so timid, no one really takes notice. Runagate's face is also rather small, it seems to be like that of a young, pre-pubescent girl. Her figure is much like Lolita's from Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, looks worthy of capturing Humpty's attention. It's very delicate and frail, lithe, and quite child-like indeed. It's very easy to injure her physical body - though she can't actually be killed. As a result, people look at her as some sort of delicate rose - that is, until she completely mauls them sexually if they're a guy, or violently if they're female - she doesn't swing that way. She often wears clothes that fit the latest trends in fetishes - whether it be gothloli or full-on leather, she will wear it if it feeds her attention whore nature. But other than that, nothing special!

In her true, demoness form, she's much taller, standing at almost six feet, at around five foot ten, almost as if wearing high-heels. Her hair remains the same, but her face has been twisted to look more adult, and definitely more sultry and mature. You can actually see her bat-like wings which are red on the inside with black covers. She also has a black fish-like tail, similar to that of a mermaid's, which lags back between her legs upon moving. She uses this to trap her prey. Her skin is now very tan as opposed to her rather pale human form, and she wears virtually nothing except for bandages in the form of a sarong and sarashi. Her figure is slender and lithe, almost feline, much like her now bright yellow eyes. Her arms are tough and she can get you pinned down easily, so you can get punished for underestimating her strength. Her training under Lady Tyrades had paid off, and Runagate is rather proud of that. However, she doesn't like resorting to this form too much - only single males or those looking for a prostitute like such a body. It makes her sad, because it makes her attached to being in a form she really isn't.

PERSONALITY

Runagate's a rather enigmatic little girl. She speaks with a soft voice, but somehow is quite commanding and assertive - perhaps that is a trait earned from her mother, or perhaps Vyvien - no one really can tell. But she manages to do it, and it's quite baffling... Not to mention horrifically generic for someone like her, a succubus. Runagate doesn't seem to mind though, despite Lady Tyrades' constant pleas for her to change from the "old way" into something more submissive as part of her experiment. However, it seems Runagate enjoys being commanding and assertive over her male victims and/or pleasure seekers. She's often heard laughing like a maniac and enjoying such things with so much loudness that she tends to creep people out more than arouse them - "How can such a little girl have so much endurance?!" or "Aaah, holy cow, I keep on...!" and the like. She's quite active despite her appearance, as well, and enjoys going to parties. As a result, it's easy for her to gain connections to all sorts of things, especially the black market, which she has slowly been getting control over due to her nature, and soon enough, she will be able to monopolize it on her own. Constantly, she is on the hunt for fresh blood, new prey, new energy - she is much like a nomad, wandering on the lands for a new home, a new place to stay after the old one has lost its worth. Runagate can be paralleled to this sort of figure, using her wiles in resourceful and crafty ways to get what she wants. However, amidst all this, Runagate does feel a little lonely inside, and DOES feel a semblance of guilt - perhaps this is a remnant of Vyvien's essence, the ability to feel "guilt" and "remorse," and she beats herself up over this constantly - After all, she's a demon! She isn't /supposed/ to have such emotions - it's the stereotype! This earns more ire from her fellow demons, who honestly aren't surprised - they tell Lady Tyrades that Runagate is a failure of a demon. Runagate's self-esteem issues are kind of shaky as a result, but she tries to hang on. Perhaps this is why she seeks companionship. She seeks assurance from her peers, and she wants to be approved. That's why she's so assertive towards the humans who are so much helpless under her demon powers... And why she feels so hurt and guilty after doing innocents wrong, occasionally. Runagate wants to be a people pleaser - and everyone knows those aren't possible in today's society. As a result, Runagate learned to be a good listener - someone you can confide in - but due to her nomadic character, that's as far as she gets in being a good social person.

MODUS OPERANDI

As a succubus, Runagate possesses high magical powers. However, she has the unique ability of being able to conceal such a capability. In laymen's terms, she can hide the fact that she has MAGICKAL POWARZ OF DOOM. The mechanics behind this lie in her parents. Because Tyrades absorbed Vyvien's entire being, the child, Runagate, managed to inherit abilities that helped to work AGAINST her demonic nature - and pervade it with the human nature. The human nature intruded by being able to shut off, or "hide," the existence of the demon nature - this reveals Runagate's capability to appear either as a normal human or as her true demonic self. This further reveals that Runagate can show that she knows absolutely no magic - when in fact the complete opposite is true and this assumption is complete horsecrap. She is basically a walking yin-yang - her demonic, dark nature the "yin," and her human, light nature the "yang." She's quite a unique being in that respect, as succubi generally aren't capable of such things. Anyway, enough about what she CAN'T do, this is about how she operates. Basically, though she can perform all the magical stunts of explodery through use of quintessence, ether, the "Fifth Element," her main speciality is in disabling her prey to drain their energy through seduction. Her magic involves being able to hold the prey in an electrical bind or a viney net, as well as other things. While such magic can't actually harm the person - she does this through beating them up physically - she can also do such things like lob firebolts at people or freeze people with a rain of hail and ice. She's also capable of magicking up thunderstorms, though she hates doing this because she hates the rain in general. Her dexterity and agility is unparalleled... but this is an illusion. She's actually quite slow, but her magic is strong enough that she can trick enemies or prey into thinking she's really fast by conjuring after images of herself and hopping as fast as she can - as well as being able to magically slow the enemy's movements and nerve transistors, making them feel pain much more SLOWLY than they should - so even weak flicks hurt like hell. All these disablers and distractors are Runagate's main tool in weakening her prey enough to seduce them with ease and gain their energy. She almost never kills her victims with force, she only applies such barbaric means to females, who she deems "get in the way of her prey," and has very close ties with only a handful of females - enough to count on one hand. One of them is Lady Tyrades, her mother.

MISCELLANEOUS - THINGS ABOUT LIFE TO PONDER

HOBBIES: As a "human", Runagate decided it would be nice to get into some hobbies so she could talk with fellows she was trying to blend into... And then a friend of hers got her addicted to this newfangled thing called the "Internet." Runagate is now quite the MMO junkie. Not like it really matters, Runagate has practically lived eons, she already knows a lot about her trade, and she doesn't require material things to live. She may as well enjoy herself as a result. She learned Japanese after finding out about all these "video games" that same friend told her about, and has been trying hard to find ways to help others to enjoy these experiences. It's more evidence that she's being drawn to the humane side of things. She also likes to write a lot. Lady Tyrades and Runagate also often go gardening, because they both happen to like flowers. A lot. Occasionally, Runagate makes a quick buck by selling flowers. She also learned how to farm drug plants, which she uses not to make a quick buck but to make connections with the human's version of the "Underworld." She quickly became a big name and is now a top-class supplier. She conceals all her supplies to make sure Lady Tyrades doesn't confiscate anything. Though, there's no reason to be afraid - Tyrades enjoys such underhanded tactics to dominate. She also enjoys long walks on the beach and sex there.

DIET!!: Runagate doesn't really care what she eats. She's a demon, so human foods rarely affect her - and she has a giant appetite, so it kind of shocks others when she eats so much - most of her actual nutrition comes from the males anyway. Does it really matter what a being like Runagate eats? She IS, however, very partial to kiwis - which is where she got her nickname "Kiwi-chan" from. Her favourite foods aside from the kiwi are instant noodles, steak, and broccoli. She really likes broccoli. She really likes it a lot. In fact, vegetables are a turn on for her. Especially carrots. Boy, she LIKES carrots. They say it improves night vision. Runagate says it turns her on. In THAT way. Your mind is right when it is in the gutter. Yes. Same with leek. And the list goes on. Okay, this is bordering mad, and you know that Runagate is a damnable creeper.
