The Little Starly That Did

There once was a story all about how...huh? What? Wrong reference? Silly me. Anywho, story time! :3

So here's ya boi, hatchin' my rounds of Eggs at Paniola Ranch for the top 'Mon to train for the Battle Royale. During one of my rounds, I went a little off course and wound up in the grass patch to the south of the Day Care. As I was riding back on my trusty ol' Machamp, ya boi noticed an Egg just laying up against the fence. I tell my Machamp to let me down so I could come over to investigate it.

I just stand there for a moment, pondering. It looks like it was seemingly abandoned by its parents, but I decided to sit for a good hour or two to make sure someone didn't just drop it and forget about it. However, nobody came to claim it, and no Pokemon came by to claim it either. Feeling bad, ya boi picked up the Egg and strutted off into the sunset, Forever Young by Rod Stewart playing in the background (I wish, but use your imagination here).

During my trek across Akala, ending back at Paniola Ranch, I noticed the little Egg starting to wiggle. Before I knew it, in my hands was a little Starly. Feeling bad for it, I decided to add it to my squad, nicknaming it Hot Topic. Despite its complete lack of strength (or anything, for that matter), it quickly rose through the ranks to be  my premier offensive powerhouse, eventually becoming a level 100 Staraptor!

For moveset, I kept it nice and simple: Work Up to make it even stronger, Brave Bird and Double-Edge for STAB, and Close Combat to give Rocks and Steels the finest of work. Jolly with Reckless and EVs 252 Attack/4 Special Defense/252 Speed, fully Hyper Trained.
