- FYI Cones has decided to hit our sov and Flex structures
- for no other reason apparantly then there being a scout present in their stager
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:10 AM
- well darius was very clear about their response to being cloaky camped to Kendarr. and i know that they are getting pissed about Trigg showing up to "third party" and only shooting them when they are on a defensive op.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:11 AM
- they weren't being cloaky camped, that is bullshit
- there was a scout present in their stager
- just like everyone else has 4-5 in their stager perm
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:20 AM
- well they clearly don't feel that way, and with what they feel is targeting during their larger fleet fights they are going to keep pushing.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:22 AM
- It is literally not worth it
- you can't go live in a fightclub-ish enviroment and get mad when sometimes things don't go your way
- that is the entire consequence of it all
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:25 AM
- well cone does not see themselves as part of a "fight club" because you guys have done your best to make it clear that they are not part of any agreement. and very few people in the area have much tolerance for your alliance because of the way that your USTZ acts.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:26 AM
- we never put them into any agreement because they don't want to interact nor do they live in Tribute
- but PB is as much a pvp region as tribute is
- maybe less active, but it is inhabitated by pvp alliances
- some more to an extend then others
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:28 AM
- so if you don't view them as part of any agreements, why would you be surprised that they would get mad and react when your guys are interfering with their fights?
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:29 AM
- I am not surprised
- I think going from "there is a scout in my system" to "I am gonna entosis and rf all your shit" is skipping a few steps
- but that is my personal opinion
- we always managed to talk about our shit too, agreed that I made mistakes too leading to a worsened relation then under kendarr
- but then again Kendarr also failed to mention said agreements to anyone
- so yeah, hard to keep a promise when you are not aware of it
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:35 AM
- i mean if i can be honest. the general perception is that the people in your alliance do whatever they want, which causes people to have more aggressive responses to your alliance. EG: dropping a fort in E-O
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:36 AM
- Well, that is kinda how we work
- I am not telling a corp or FC what they can or can not do
- unless it goes against alliance interests
- Same for our FCs
- The one thing they aren't allowed to do without permission is entosis
- so yeah, the consequence is me having to deal with the fallout
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:37 AM
- but what i am telling you is that makes people respond more aggressively to you guys.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:38 AM
- and normally that works okay to an extend where everybody can have content and fun
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:39 AM
- when people feel that a group has no accountability and can't be trusted they will not want to play nice.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:39 AM
- I don't think the most of you realise how much I am holding back bloc interference at most timers
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:39 AM
- i mean, they have shown up plenty of times.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:40 AM
- and saying I am not accountable for my actions or not honest is a low blow buddy
- you do realise blocs show up on their free will because they are all bored to shit right?
- then pop into discord, like hey what you doing
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:41 AM
- i am not saying that you are not accountable, i am telling you that is the perception
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:41 AM
- and we tell them no 9 out of 10 times
- we don't plan any of that shit
- well I can't do much about people's perceptions
- people seem to alreayd have made up their mind about it anyways
- I mean I get told we work with goons too on a daily basis
- while having ISRAD and penif in my alliance
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:42 AM
- no, they really didn't. people's minds were made up when pitts started doing whatever he wanted.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:42 AM
- I am not sure if people realise what the relation between ISRAD and Goons is
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:43 AM
- when pitts tell you that he is going to phone horde for the next timer... then they show up. people make up their minds.
- I keep people over here under control. when our moon ops get camped, people call for blood. when a fort gets dropped in our space, people call for blood. but when you have people who act like the people around you are assholes because they won't just be farmed... people get pretty pissed off.
- I realize that Pitts isn't going to act like an adult. But i am also not going to try and smooth out the responses to his actions.
- Mark ArtreidesToday at 10:47 AM
- So
- people are mad they live in a pvp alliance in nullsec in a pvp alliance and get shot at
- and just because we are the "bigger" alliance we automically have the blame for everything
- [STIM] Sven HolstienToday at 10:48 AM
- I think you totally missed what i said
- what i am saying is that you have people who are making it so people don't trust your alliance and are not willing to give you guys any benefit of the doubt.
- if you hand't had people targeting cone during their big fights up north they may have been more understanding about having eyes in their staging.
- none of us are afraid of pvp, but what i am saying is that the actions of your alliance are causing people to respond much more aggressively than they would if it was someone else.
