[22:46] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai narrowed his eyes slightly, and he dug his claws into the ground. "Control yourself!" He scolded himself. He didn't want to hurt the pretty she-cat, but he counldn't deny that he would soon die if he didn't find some chakra.

[22:48] <Frostyness_> Rukia stood up and went over to him "You dont look so good" she circled him
[22:49] <Oakfeather> He stopped breathing, trying not to scent her. He however, could not suppress a whimpering growl as she walked by. It was one of hunger and wistfulness.
[22:50] <Oakfeather> When Rush and several other cats had come to his aid when Gaara attacked him, he had decided that cats were not worthless afterall, and was trying to avoid feeding as much as possible.

[22:57] <Oakfeather> He looked away, "My brother takes regular chakra from cats, the kind that powers your attacks, when it is all drained, you feel faint, but you live. I cannot use that regular chakra. I must kill my prey and take the life-chakra. The stuff that sustains their existance."
[22:58] <Oakfeather> He looked back, his golden eyes waiting patiently for her to run in terror.
[22:58] <Frostyness_> "Oh,ill be right back" she ran away then came back with a random fat kitty pet
[22:58] <Oakfeather> He blinked at the kittypet with wide eyes. "Ah, thanks." He allowed himself to take in the scent.
[22:59] <Frostyness_> Rukia climbed up a tree
[22:59] <Frostyness_> The fat kitty pet backed away
[23:00] <Oakfeather> His eyes shut, and when he opened them, they were red. Jagged purple stripes faded onto his face, red on his body, and his body seemed to grow, and stretch into a strange thing that was almost doggish. He snarled with delight, and leapt upon the kittypet.
[23:01] <Frostyness_> the kitty pet yowled and wriggled around
[23:01] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai only opened his jaws, and closed them on the kittypets neck, crushing his airways.
[23:02] <Frostyness_> the kitty pet wiggled around more then slowly died
[23:03] <Frostyness_> Rukia was staring at a red bird
[23:03] <Oakfeather> He moved his snout to it's chest, and tore it open, and thrust his jaws in. He brought his fangs down on the heart, and shut his eyes.
[23:04] <Frostyness_> Rukia looked at him, then went back to playing with the bird
[23:05] <Oakfeather> He pulled himself up, his body shrunk to a more regular size, and the markings faded, and his eyes became gold once more. He kicked dirt over the dead kittypet, and looked up to Rukia.

[23:07] <Frostyness_> Rukia smiled "Yup" she jumped down and went up to him "All better?"
[23:08] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai was now no longer thirsting for her chakra, yet the scent of her still was drawing him in. /strange/ he thought. "Yes." He stretched, sparks flying from his fur.

[23:09] <Frostyness_> Rukia smiled, her violet eyes sparkled
[23:12] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai did not understand this at all, having never spoken to a she-cat before. "Your eyes have gone funny." he announced to her, "is something wrong?"
[23:13] <Frostyness_> Rukia laughing "Nothing is wrong, my eyes just sparkle like that when im happy, just like everyone elses"
[23:15] <Oakfeather> He looked at her with curiousity. "They do? I'm not sure if it the same for Cat Youkai, because i've never seen it.. come to think of it, I've never spoken to a she-cat of my kind, so I wouldn't know." he wondered if his eyes ever sparkled.
[23:15] <Oakfeather> ooc: Youkai is a japanese word for things that have powers.
[23:15] <Oakfeather> He sniffed Rukia, "Ah, you are too a Youkai."
[23:15] <Frostyness_> ooc: oh k
[23:15] <Frostyness_> Rukia "Yup" she smiled
[23:17] <Oakfeather> He almost found a smile creeping onto his face, but he shamed himself for showing emotions. "Cobalt is only a half-youkai. Father was a skilled cat, his mother had no powers. My mother had powers." He seemed pleased with himself.
[23:18] <Frostyness_> Rukia "Oh" she sat down "So were did you come from?"
[23:21] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai blinked, "The shikon jewel." He looked down at the necklace he had on, it was a string with teeth on it, and at the end two tiny shards of a jewel were on it.
[23:22] <Frostyness_> she looked at it "Oh" she moved a bit closer to him
[23:24] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai felt his fur prickle softly, but not from electricity. "Cobalt came some other way. I'm not sure how, but not with the jewel.." he pondered this for a moment, then mewed, "When I get all the jewel, I will no longer need to feed on other's chakra."
[23:25] <Frostyness_> Rukia's eyes brightened "If you want i can help you find it"
[23:26] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai couldn't suppress a burst of excitement from lighting up his face, making his eyes sparkle. "Really?" he calmed himself. "R-..really?"
[23:27] <Oakfeather> He groaned internally, /I've scolded my brother for showing emotions for so long, and here I go all the sudden flipping out./ he was disgusted with himself, but couldn't help admiring Rukia's eyes.

All cats avoided his touch, wincing in fear under it, yet this she-cat seemed perfectly content to be in contact with him. "I.. I guess." He stuttered, still shocked.

[00:30] <Oakfeather> He began to wonder what was more. He had seen Gaara and Sakura, and he had seen Cobalt liking Mion almost like he did, though she didn't return it. He sought for a word that defined them.

[00:52] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai snarled louder, and bit into the throat of the wolf clawing her, and then slashed at the others, "Run, Rukia!!"

[00:53] <Frostyness> Rukia "I'm not going to leave you" she stood up and growled
[00:54] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai growled and clawed a approaching wolf, "Don't be foolish, leave!" he clawed harder.
[00:54] <Frostyness> Her eyes flashed ice blue and she yowled in anger, ice shot into one of the wolves stomach
[00:55] <Oakfeather> He shot electricity into a wolf, and it yelped, and its fur stood on end.
[00:55] <Oakfeather> One wolf snuck up behind Rukia, and sunk its fangs into her neck.

[00:56] <Oakfeather> It collapsed, bleeding, and the rest of the wolves began to yelp warily, some fleeing.

[00:56] <Oakfeather> The fangs bit down harder, pressing closer to her life-blood.
[00:57] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai saw this, and reached for her, but was tackled and mauled by a grey wolf.
[00:57] <Oakfeather> "Rukia! Run!" He screamed, shocking the wolf attacking him.
[00:58] <Frostyness> Rukia scream ice shot into the wolves it started to burn the, she swung around and clawed and bit the wolves
[00:58] <Oakfeather> Suddenly, the jewel in her neck glew, and her wounds vanished.
[00:58] <Oakfeather> Reokotsai struggled away from the wolf, and joined Rukia's side.
