  36. Sophie is a girl from another time, brought to the setting of the MUSH by a contract made with a creature. She simply fights for her life, and for the friends she makes. Outside of being a Magical girl, she spends most of her life trying to learn about the world she now lives in. She is an orphan, living with other orphans. Her goal is to find a new family, and to explore where she lives. All while keeping her past a secret.

  39. Sophie is a decent cook, and an even better eater! She is a good fencer, a good shot with a rifle, can ride horseback, is fluent in English, French and is quickly learning Japanese. She is a fast reader, and especially good at research. Also, while Karoke confuses her greatly, she has a very nice singing voice. And if you count etiquette as a skill, she is a master. While not a genius, she was able to earn a scholarship to Verone Academy.

  43. Sophie was born in late 18th Century France. Her father served as a royal guard to the king, and Sophie was raised in a life of luxury, until the outbreak of revolution. At age 13, her father and mother were executed and she was left an orphan of war. Stricken with grief she was approached Kuybey, and offered a contract to become a magical girl. Her wish was simple, to live in a place and time far away from the war that took her family. Her wish granted, she was transported to the current setting of the MUSH. She found herself an orphan still, but at least far from war torn France.

  47. Personality:
  48. Despite the tragedy she faced and the hardships she battles as a Magical Girl, both physical and emotional, Sophie remains optimistic. This mostly comes from the awe she feels for the time she now lives in. She is easily fascinated by all sorts of modern things, and seems to take great joy in the smallest bits of modernity. Do to her growing up the daughter of a royal guard, Sophie was used to a certain way of life. She is extremely polite, and well mannered to most but can come across as a bit snooty.

  50. Hobbies and pastimes:
  51. Her greatest love of all is food. Especially rich and creamy foods. Any money she can save is often spent on buying the highest quality food she can afford. Outside of that, Sophie enjoys to fence, learn about history and technology.

  53. Hopes and dreams:
  54. Sophie wishes above all to find a new family, and to become strong enough to protect them. She has a deep fear of the concept of war, and the lives that it takes. As a magical girl, she considers herself a soldier in a war against darkness. And her duty as a soldier is to stop war from hurting those she cares about. To be strong.

  58. Sophie is still very new to this world. Her japanese is not the best and as a sort of fish out of water she can be a bit awkward, this has lead to her not making many friends. Although she considers all her classmates, and fellow orphans friends, in the way that she wishes to fight and protect them. But really she could use more, maybe you will be her friend.

  61. 5) Fighting and combat: Here, we’ll deal with the combat section of the application! MahouMUSH does not have a Combat System like some MUSHes, so we just need to know your base and any secondary forms to set up henshins for you! Most characters will have at least two henshins: one for their ‘base form’ (or human disguise, if a youma/antagonist type) and one for their combat form. Some antagonists that do not have a disguise will only have a combat form (e.g. Queen Beryl). Of course, as Mahou Shoujo demands, powerups may be warranted, and with these may come secondary combat henshins (Princess Serenity, Super Sailor Moon for two examples!)

  65. Tall for a 14 year old, she has pale skin, chestnut brown hair that is always tied in a long braid and soft blue eyes. Her features are rather soft, and she speaks with a heavy French accent.

  69. Clad in what looks like a combination of a lolita dress, and a French revolutionary soldier's uniform. Deep blue coat, with scarlet Epaulette (Those shoulder pads, now you know what they are called) and a black tricorne with a red feather. She wields a golden rapier, and magical musket, with golden bayonet.

  72. Iconic Attack(s):
  73. Her main way of attacking is with her rapier, but her signature attack is a golden magical blast fired from musket. It is made of pure light, and doubles in strength against those clad in darkness.

  75. Fighting Style: Sophie’s combat style can best be described as an acrobatic fencer. She fights by jumping and flipping around the battlefield, and using her sword as a weapon. When things get rough she relies on more ranged combat, using her magical musket to fight.
