  1. The Rippers Playground
  2. “Depraved, ruthless, and insane.” He had to appreciate the description he gathered while skimming the newspaper under the soft glow of the street lantern. The interest shown by his audience gave him pride in his work. However, now was not the time to be occupied with such things, he thought to himself as the figure of a lone woman leaving the brothel caught the corner of his eye. No, there was much work to be done in a small window of time and he couldn’t afford to waste it admiring his previous works.
  3. He started heading in the same direction of the woman was traveling. No doubt tonight’s work would be more difficult than the former as there would be more constables patrolling the streets of London in order to catch him. He wasn’t worried though as he was well educated, charismatic, and gave off him a certain coolness that showed no signs of stress. The constables would be looking for a blood thirsty murderer, and never look twice at such a well classed individual as himself.
  4. No doubt the woman could feel herself being watched as her pace was quickening with each block. This was nothing new to him and keeping up was no hard task. The woman, like all residents of London, knew well of the infamous killer “Jack the Ripper”. Knowing full well what kind of state he left his prey only served to add to her fear and thus to her hastiness. Unable to shake the feeling of being followed any longer she quickly turned the corner and ran into the nearest alley, overlooking her shoulder for any sight of her predator while she did so. Confident that she had finally lost her predator, she slowed down to gather her bearings. This confidence was short lived however and was quickly replaced by pain and confusion. She looked down to the source of the pain only to find a scalpel lodged in her chest. Slowly her eyes followed the hand attached to the blade to come eye to eye with her killer. Those cold eyes were the last thing she saw.
  5. He calmly exited the alley, tipping his hat to a patrolling constable across the street as he did so, and slowly started his trek home. He was quite satisfied with the quality of the trophies he had received open the door, get on the floor, everyone walk the dinosaur.
