Hello, everyone. I hope all are doing fine and well in this day and age.

Today I am here to try and update quite a lot of things for [[Shinza Banshou]], most notably of all the [[Shinza Banshou Explanation Page]] as well as updating and cleaning up the pages for not only Dies Irae but even Paradise Lost, the latter of which has been in definite need for it as Dies Irae and even Kajiri Kamui Kagura have already gotten theirs in the past before although the latter can use some more with others such as the Tenma's and Hajun.

I will have to note on there being some possible upgrades that may or may not come to pass, which I will explain and also try to present both arguments for and against them (Keep note that any that I make are all those that I assume will be brought up so they may not be what you and anyone else might think if not anywhere near it).

==Explanation Page, Paradise Lost and Kajiri Kamui Kagura clean up==
Starting off, I made it my goal to clean up not only for the DI profiles (which never really got any updates besides Reinhard and Ren) but also that of Paradise Lost and especially the Explanation Page. Granted, I have heard that it originally was going to have scans be put in by the initial maker of the page named [[User:VenomElite|VenomElite]] but for reasons I have only heard vaguely about, they were not able to do that and haven't gone back to it since. Another, [[User:Ravenous4th|Ravenous4th]] who did an update regarding the Hadou and Gudou Gods and the overall cosmology of the verse, was also going to add scans for the explanation page and even had several on their last CRT but as with VenomElite earlier, Raven did not get to do that.

As seen and linked above, I took it upon myself to do just that for them. It has all information for important terms and concepts that are present either in one series (Paradise Lost, Dies Irae, and so on) or throughout all of them (Throne, Taikyoku, Singularity, etc.) along with scans of images or text, if necessary, to back them up and justify what they are and mean.

Not only that, I have gone out of my way to not just update the explanation page but also did my part as best as I can in order to update the Dies Irae and even the Paradise Lost pages, with massive help from [[User:TISSG7Redgrave|TISSG7Redgrave]] on the latter. Major props to him.

As you have noticed, there are big changes to these profiles in comparison to that of their current pages (I.e better justifications, scans added to important parts of the page on powers and abilities among others, summaries for characters, just anything that needed a polish up) plus a couple of new pages that will be added here. What you also might notice are things that will surely give rise to more questions and doubts to them, which is where the next part will be that is rather important and where I will be posting what can or might be arguments for and against them. Although tbh one of them doubles as an explanation and not just a CRT but moving on.

==Adding 5-A Word of God scaling for ParaLost top tiers==
The first thing to go over is the tiering for Paradise Lost. As it stands, top tier characters like Nacht/Belial and Belial are all at High 6-A with the two being stated to be able to perform a feat that could have plunged all of earth's continents. The top tiers also even possess 6-A stuff for them to retain Tier 6, with Nacht having a statement of being able to destroy continents and Astaroth's Uriel creating a mini star with power equal to a solar flare.

These are fine enough to have them cemented in Tier 6. But in this particular topic, I want to bring up the proposal to add a 5-A key for the ParaLost top tiers that is the Angels (well there's only one that is this) and Anti-Angels (Belial, Beelzebub, Astaroth).

In 2013, [https://dengekionline.com/elem/000/000/597/597522/index-6.html Masada had a Q&A surrounding the future of Shinza and about additional content in Kajiri Kamui Kagura]. During the interview, he was asked to compare how ParaLost characters would stack up with DI and, to an extent, K3 (Kajiri Kamui Kagura), to which he answered that ParaLost chars would be higher than the Commanders but weaker than Reinhard.

Now for this, it can be confusing as to what he means here since it would appear he's talking as in general or just the ones shown to fight I suppose including Known Christ despite the latter having no particular boost of sorts or otherwise that can give him an edge against any of the Quintessence users (Angels and Anti Angels). It wouldn't be until later in the year 2018 that Masada created [https://gyazo.com/8db5d904c63068c6fbb95151deabefe0 this ranking ladder of characters for Pantheon] where he placed them from 1-7 by strength/power, with 1 the Weakest to 7 the Strongest. In it, he had the Commanders (Machina/マキナ, Eleonore/エレオノーレ, Schreiber/シュライバー) at a 5, while the Angels and Anti-Angels (天使悪魔) are placed higher at a 6.

Looking at all this, it should tell you that Masada has made it clear in the past in portraying his characters in ParaLost, now understood as the Angels and Anti-Angels, as being superior to the Commanders. Powerlevel wise this isn't wrong as at the time of 2013, Dies Irae didn't have Interview back then that bumped up Dies Irae's power standing so the Commanders, and somewhat Reinhard (at his worst), would scale to being superior to Cain. Which would hold the statement true of ParaLost chars being superior than everyone (non-God wise) in DI with only Reinhard being their superior.

Even now as of late after the time when Pantheon used to be in production and when Interview was first released, it's consistent again when Masada placed the Angels and Anti-Angels of ParaLost to be stronger than the Commanders. And it would hold true again as the planetary-scale feats they did are revealed to have been done not on earth as once believed but on the corpse of a character known as the Forge of Ruin (character from Avesta of Black and White) whose body is vastly large to the point one of its many eyes can make stars look like insects to it...but information on this, coming from Avesta, is still unknown beyond being stated that ParaLost's setting isn't done on earth or an earth-sized planet.

To finally wrap this part up, what I want to do is add a 5-A rating via Word of God to the Angels and Anti-Angels as it, again, was made clear by the author on how strong they're supposed to be as he describes. By adding I of course mean to have it along their existing High 6-A as either a likely or possibly, at least as a kind of middle ground or compromise until more information as the Forge of Ruin's peak size is made clear later on.

==High 1-A Durability for Quintessence users (ParaLost)==
With the potential addition of 5-A topic done, we head onto the next ParaLost topic that is very important to know. This time, we go onto Quintessence.

To summarize what Quintessence is, it is a "Fifth DNA base" exclusive to [https://gyazo.com/2ab57078182da59badd7205e13f48222 Angels and Anti-Angels that enables them to access energy from the higher dimensions] of the Sefirot and the Abyss respectively. Both the Sefirot and Abyss are places that were created and spawned as a result of Muzan's Law, [https://gyazo.com/d46a4a69547e29931cab2c3d141b0467 the former literally making up the structure of the universe under the latter's reign] and the latter being a place one can access by piercing between two higher dimensions (Chessed and Da'at) as in the case with Satanel through his Testament.

This is all fine and dandy along with the added bonus of [https://gyazo.com/c28129fd5f504857b1e44cce8d93d087 having a comparable lifespan to the planet]. But the thing that makes it even greater is Quintessence allows the Angels to [https://gyazo.com/a79a11605a829b5a3aaa09ab734afc69 exist in a "different dimension" from other lifeforms]. What this means is that their connection to the higher dimensions to the Sefirot enables them to be immune to any conventional attacks in the physical world and that one must have an energy opposite or comparable to it like Sin (that the Anti-Angels and those of powerful Sin like Lyle and Satanel use) to counter or overpower their Quintessence source and to harm and kill them. This extends to Anti-Angels, and the connection to higher dimensions is expanded upon as them being [https://gyazo.com/491342ccd3be9cfc019855c8f5f7fb49 "not of this world"] as Astaroth states on Nacht's existence after the latter completely connects to the Abyss.

This line above from one of Paradise Lost's side stories repeats this point above on how one's connection to either of the higher dimensional places makes them not of this world along with being unaffected to the laws of the physical world and stating how only something with a source equal to the Abyss/Hell can affect them. This also doubles as resistance to higher dimensional energy and law manipulation.

How Quintessence works is essentially how the existence or physiology of the Yatsukahagi/Tenma's are in Kajiri Kamui Kagura in that even if they don't have their Taikyoku active due in of being a pseudo-God via virtue of Tenma Yato raising their existence to his on top of his "World of Zero" or "Time Armor" giving them additional protection from anything in the physical world that is not of Taikyoku. In this case for the Angels, Anti-Angels, and even Nerose Satanel, their creator and summoner respectively as well as the one who created Quintessence, it works the same way via their connection with the DNA base to the Sefirot or Abyss and its higher dimensions.

However, note that this only towards their Durability. While their attacks, being empowered by Quintessence, could be argued to be on that same level as their durability, physically wise in AP it is not affected.

A matter I had in mind that was both concerning and questionable in how to really justify this.

Masada had a public recording some years back where he explains how early-game Yakou is as strong as the Gold (one of Reinhard's titles/names). While I cannot find or know which sort of recording Masada stated this in, the K3 (Kajiri Kamui Kagura) Visual Fanbook that came after the VN itself to showcase all in-game info about the characters has a QnA series where Masada was asked various questions in regards to his series (note: at the time when K3 was the latest Shinza work).

One of his questions was directed on being asked how Yakou is as strong as Reinhard. When looking into said question, however, there is this interesting response he had about it:

初期夜行が黄金と同じくらいの強さって公開録音で言ってましたがとてもそうは思えないのですが……

ああ、言い方が悪かったですね。夜行というキャラの格がラインハルト級だということです。その世界における神の加護を一身に受けているという意味で、些細な違いはあってもほぼ同種の存在。

Roughly, it reads:

What this says here is that Masada actually meant to say that Yakou is like Reinhard in the sense they have received a blessing of sorts from the God of their Era's. Blessing, or Kago/加護, is a little odd if you don't know the other possible meanings to it as Jisho and several translators I put this through have "divine protection" as another meaning. Now this can refer to anything regarding the two characters on what said blessing can mean like, say, the powers they were bestowed by their era's God (Yakou obtaining Taikykou and Tengan from Hajun, and Reinhard learning Ewigkeit from Mercurius/Karl).

From here, and of how Masada puts it, this is where the two are said to be of the "same existence" if with slight differences...whatever that can mean.

To put it simply, it seems Masada was trying to explain how they have powers granted to them by their world's God rather than the two being comparably strong. What I'm getting at is if this is how he meant it, Yakou should instead scale to any feats/statements/scaling from K3 itself, of which that can work such as him being stated in his profile to manipulate the movements of stars to being superior than Ryuumei due to being an even better master at Onmyoudou than her if his way is sorta cheating due to having Taikyoku.

Stupid, so it's worth protecting. And well, for those reasons, it is Naraka's alter ego, the Observer, who works to ensure that the system itself does not disappear and is smoothly replaced. The main body is fused with the system, so Judas and Shirou, who will appear later, are his Sensories. These alter egos have no such knowledge but are puppets that unconsciously carry out the will of Naraka, so to speak. Those who have that factor (i.e., the Voice of Rene Yama) are not only in the rise and fall, but in all times, when they awaken as Observers, they become sexually incapable. In other words, if it's just Rene Yama-san, it's not a problem, but if there's an impotent Rene Yama-san, it's bad.

As you can probably tell from this, Naraka is now the Divine Throne System itself and is, therefore, higher in rank than the previous Hadou Gods. The changing of the throne is a software change, and it only works because of the hardware called Naraka. Hence, if you want to erase the Throne System, you have to defeat Naraka. This guy isn't strong or anything like that, but he's an extremely tacky kind of guy. Even Mercury, who was probably the most scheming and annoying in his own story, was in fact being lead by Naraka. You can probably guess his troublesome nature from that point on. In fact, the only successive Hadou God who was even subconsciously aware of Naraka's presence was Hajun. By diving to depths as deep as he was, he was finally able to feel the true nature of Naraka.

==Masada on the nature of Ryuusui's Taikyoku==

Q: 龍水の奥伝が伏せられていましたが、差し支えなければ教えてください。すごく気になります。

A: 内緒ですよ。思金神。神道における知恵の神であり、その思想は万象を兼ねる。ぶっちゃけ覇道神の典型みたいなもので、征服神であるタカミスビの子であるとも言われいるのですが、龍水のそれはもっと個人的なもの。最初のうちは自分に関わる事象の最適化、夜行がそうであったように、無意識のうち好ましいものを己の周りに並べ立てるという力でしたが、作中を通して自己の練磨、思い通りにならない他者へ追いつくために自分を高めるという風に変わっていきます。ただこれに関してだけは、はっきり自覚しないほうがいい。祈れば自分は何でも出来ると知ってしまえば、彼女の気概や努力が茶番になる。龍水にとって大事なのは、他人を玩具一一つまり装飾品にしないこと。そして都合のいい妄想に逃げないこと。頑張るという意志が重要なのであって、またそうした根性があったからこそ、初期の頃から夜行も驚く自己潜行が出来たのです。

自分の真実を知った上で、自分の在り方を決めねばならない。これは夜刀が遺し、東征軍の面々を真理に導いた玉言ですが、龍水だけは唯一明確なその例外。物事には常に裏面があり、知れば成長を阻害するという真理もあるのです。実際、諏訪原においても 「あんたは知らないほうがいい」とエリーが言っていますね。なので龍水は、エンディング後でも自分の太極をよく分かっていません。そういう微妙に空回りながら頑張ってるところ、彼女らしいと思ってください。だから等級項目にもあえて書きませんでした。ちなみに、龍水が初期の頃から竜胆様ラブなのは、タカミスビとオモイカネの関係を模したネタです。

==Rindou and why she can wield the Longinuslanze Testament==

Q: 竜胆がハイドリヒ卿以外には触れないと言われていた聖槍に触れたのはどうしてですか?

A: 聖槍の主となれるのは、一つの時代に一人のみ。制覇、征服にかける気概、王の威厳が当代一の勇者のみ。という設定です。

まあ、竜胆はどうだろうな。神咒の時代は彼女以外に覇者のカリスマを持つ人間がいないから、基準値は最低限クリアしてるとしても、繰り上げ当選に近いでしょう。ラインハルトの将器が十としたら、竜胆は六と七の問くらいかと。だから彼と同じ時代にいたら、竜胆も聖槍には触れませんよ。

Well, you can say that this is Rindou here. There was no one other than her who had the charisma of a champion in the age of Kajiri, and even if the standards were met at the least, she would be a close runner up. If Reinhard's skill as a general is a 10, I would think Rindou is a 6 or 7. So if they were put in the same age, Rindou would not be able to touch the Holy Spear.

==Masada explaining how the Umibozu (Tenma Awaumi, Trifa's K3 incarnation) was defeated + what could have happened==

A: まずディエス経験者ならご存知の通り、彼は夜刀とさほど密な繋がりを持っていないというのが一点。そして淡海は夜刀の支配力が及ぶギリギリの場所というのが二点。要するに、身も蓋もない言い方をしてしまうと、海坊主さんは他の天魔勢より自由が利いたので最前線に特攻したけど、それにより無間神無月の加護が薄くなったのでやられたということ。加えて言うなら、夜行の存在がイレギュラー。波旬の代行者として曲がりになりにも太極に達していた彼がいなければ、龍明が東外流のような自爆技を使わない限り止められなかったはず。そしてあのとき龍明を失っていたら、不破之関で全滅していたでしょう。

==Gods of the Throne and their ability to use predecessor Laws as attacks==
Q: 作中で波旬が歴代神格の理を投げて攻撃してましたが、他の2~5代目の神格も前任者の技を使ったりできるんですか?

A: できますよ。

あの手のことが一番上手いのが五代目の黄昏。彼女の覇道共存能力がその究極系。

逆に一切できないのが四代目。彼は自分の代で神座システムを大幅に変えたので、前任者たちと相性が悪いのです。

波旬はまあ、本編でも言ったように塵投げてるようなものですね。前任者に対する理解も尊敬もまったくないので、威力だけは再現できても中身スカスカなんで文字通りの形骸です。
