Billy is the first character met in ''Afterparty'', delivering the game's opening lines as he celebrates his college graduation alongside his fellow students. After telling crowd that there's "beer in the pool, condoms in the fridge," and "a clinic like three blocks down [who will] do [them] cheap if [they] give 'em [their] promo code", Billy returns to the DJ table and begins playing music.

During a conversation with Allison, Billy blows an airhorn, switches the music, and turns on a disco light while calling people to the dance floor. Afterwards, Milo/Lola can choose to ask him to switch to another song, causing him to reveal that "they only made one song for the DJ".

Allison is a peppy, social acquaintance of Milo and Lola's who meets them at the mixer, vaguely explains the mechanics of [[Drinks|drinking]], and has them give advice to her cousin, Katie, before heading with her to the dance floor.

She is somewhat eccentric, going on a tangent about the epoch in which monkey-humans supposedly invented alcohol and octopuses grew their eighth leg and referring to video games as "Skinner Boxes--only if the mice paid with their time and currency to be trapped in the chambers, you know?"

Katie is Allison's cousin who is preparing to start attending the university in the fall. After either Milo or Lola tries to give her advice for her upcoming semester, Allison will drag her to the dance floor, where they stay until the party is interrupted by the Party People.

Vicki is the bartender at the graduation mixer. If Milo or Lola get a drink twice, she reveals that she received the job after pulling the short straw. Later on in the game, Lola can mention having a cousin of the same name who went on a trip to Jamaica with someone named Raoul".<ref>Said "You ever met him?" then "You sound awfully cagey…" during first drive to Welkin Way</ref>

The Intellectual Man and Woman are two people who are met by Milo and Lola at the graduation mixer. If Milo strikes conversation with them, they will recall an embarrassing incident from his first day of school, causing Lola to pull Milo away. If he didn't, Lola will later speak with them, where the woman fails to recognize her before Milo
