  1. From the wall socket, a voltage source of 240V AC is readily available. However,
  2. many appliances rely on DC current to work: a bridge rectifier circuit
  3. converts this less-than-useful AC voltage into a DC voltage.
  4. Our aim was to design and implement a bridge rectifier that could deliver
  5. 16V DC voltage with 5% variation. <blah> diodes were arranged into a
  6. bridge configuration, filter capacitors and a voltage regulator (type) were
  7. also added to smoothen the output DC. ETCETCETC
