  1. The delegates of the Constitution Convention have been characterized as demigods during the county's two hundred plus years as a nation. The found fathers that gathered in Philadelphia during the summer of 1787 had created a constitution that has endured the challenges faced by America. Due to the endurance of the document the delegates produced over the summer the importance of the delegates has legitimacy. To say that the delegates are perfect, demigods, or to elevate them above other humans in the many eras since the convention seems to go too far when speaking of the men who worked during the summer to put forth the Constitution.
