  1. I remember the day that would forever change my outlook on life as if it had only happened yesterday. I was sitting in the living room with my twin brother Brandon and out older sister Emma; we'd decided to watch horror movies even though our parents told us not to. We fought for at least thirty minutes about what movie to watch until we finally agreed on Hellraiser. I was absolutely terrified of the primary antagonist on that movie - which seemed to be a  form of amusement for my siblings. My brother and sister we're poking fun at me as Emma tossed popcorn at the side of my head. My cheeks slowly began to flush a bright red as I slumped down into my dad's recliner; eating every piece of popcorn that fell down the front of my face. I squealed in embarrassment. I was 10 years old, I was old enough to not be afraid of some silly movie.

  3. "Bon is going to marry Pinhead someday. You're going to have evil pinhead babies and live in his little weird puzzle box." My sister teased as she playfully nudged my brother's shoulder. I could hear him cackling in that obnoxious wat that he always would. " Yeah! Bon is going to get Pinhead cooties!" Brandon chimed in. I glared sideways, tossing the red decorative pillows at both of them. Their arms raising to defend to their face from the oncoming square of aggressive fluff.

  6. "I am not going to marry that monster! That's yucky! No one even says cooties anymore!" I shouted back, watching as Brandon and Emma stood to their feet, rushing towards me like linebackers. I tried to hide behind the remaining pillows, but it didn't help me very much. Within only a matter of seconds, my brother and sister were at my sides, tickling me mercilessly. I giggled snorted, almost choking on the breath that I tried to avoid taking. "Stop! Please stop!" I laughed, curling into a ball of overflowing ginger locks. I laughed so hard that I thought my stomach would burst into a million confetti pieces. I managed to roll down and away from the recliner, crawling over to the television as my parents walked into the room - along with my Dad's brother. I remember gazing up at my mother as she stood there in shock about the mess that we'd made.

  9. "You three have popcorn on my living room floor and pillows scattered around like this is some furniture junkyard! What on Earth wh-" My mom's voice came to a halt as her malachite hues glanced towards the television screen. I could see the anger within her eyes as her face turned into the replica of a red hot chili pepper. My twin brother and I gulped in sync. "You know what? I'm not even going to scream at you about this. Nor will I express just how disappointed that I am about my children disobeying me. " She huffed, glancing towards the doorway. " Your father and I are going out to dinner with the Dudley's. Your Uncle James will be keeping an eye on you until we return. I expect a clean living room when we get back. Is that understood?" She asked, walking towards us in order to kiss out foreheads. My brother slightly shifted away from her, but only because he hated forehead kisses. It made him feel like the biggest baby.

  12. "We understand, Mom." Emma nodded her head with strands of red hair shadowing her face. She quickly swooped it away as out mother turned on her heels and marched towards the front door. We waited until she stepped foot out of the door, shutting behind her before we returned to giggling and tossing pillows. Uncle James stood in the archway of the living room with his shoulder leaning against the wall, grinning at us. "Hell...." He said, shaking his head. " I remember when I was your age, I gave my mother a tough time as well. She didn't know what to do with me." He laughed, walking over to take a seat next to my sister Emma.
