I got a insubordination suspension early in my career. I said some things I regret during a FTS that got kicked upstairs. Knowing that I needed time off and I wouldn't take it on my own free will they suspended me.

I came back a better officer and made sure to apologize face to face with every person in that office. I then learned that I needed to really be open to critisim more. Since then I haven't gotten in trouble since and the person who suspended me is actually recommeding me for the position as well.

Nothing within this city but I have been a leader for several large organizations outside of it for many years.

[size=120][i]Why would you like to become a Supervisor in our department?[/i][/size]
I truly enjoy working for the department and want to become part of the team that ensures we are doing what is right for our officers and the city. I want to become more proactive in our department and would love to have the chance to share my ideas, pass on concerns in my precinct and make this the best itteration of the LSPD ever.

I want to continue taking the standards I have set and apply them to all of our officers, so that we have less mishaps on the field and are viewed as a crucial foundation of the city that people can look for in their times of need. Not only do I have a fondness for the department I have it for the city as well and want to protect those who are trying to live a peaceful life and not allow them to become vicitmized by the gangs that run rampant on the streets.

Through out my time in the force I have been given various awards in the department including Officer of the Month, FTO of the month and I have been the officer of the week in my department for a total of 3 times.

When on scene I can keep a cool and calm level head during investigations. My scene awareness is top notch as I try to ensure that every angle of our scenes are protected. When I am leading a scene I ensure we get it wrapped up quickly to ensure officer and civilian safety.
