- Be a Good YaST Team Member
- There are good times and there are bad times. What makes us stronger is when we find a consensus and pull the rope just in one direction - together. Only that way we can survive as one team. Only that way we can face challenges, adapt and succeed. Here's the (incomplete) list of qualities expected from ANY YaST Team member:
- - YaST Team Member (YTM) is nice to others inside and outside the team
- - People don't have legitimate complaints about YTM's behavior
- - YTM follows team standards for code development (code-review, testcases, documentation)
- - YTM writes the code keeping usability in mind, makes it easy for customers/users
- - YTM is interested in new technologies or ideas and tells others about them
- - YTM values collaboration above their own gain
- - YTM is helpful to others
- - YTM values rightful comments and opinions about their code
- - YTM is open-minded
- - YTM maintains a pleasant working environment and is a go-to person for others
