  1. Nuzlocke: Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead," and either has to be stored in a special box in the PC or gets released. (I'm storing them in the PC) If your entire team gets taken out, the nuzlocke will promptly end.
  2.
  3. Duplicates/Species Clause: If my first encounter happens to be the same as another encounter I've previously caught, I am able to pass on the encounter and opt for a different one. This also includes the rest of the evolutionary line, even ones I may not have acquired yet.
  4.
  5. Gift Clause: Static encounters do not count towards an area capture. Meaning if I were to get something like a given egg in a specific route for whatever reason, I could still catch a Pokémon in that route, and keep both.
  6.
  7. Set Rules: I will be playing with the set rules, where I do not get the choice of seeing the opponent's next pokemon after their current one faints.
  8.
  9. Flee/Self-Destruct Clause: If a Pokémon that has the ability to flee from battle (such as Abra or Ralts) or is able to use the move Self-Destruct or Explosion (such as Voltorb or Graveler) does so on my first encounter, I am able to go find another encounter for that area.
  10.
  11. Dragon Rage Clause: If a Pokémon that has the move Dragon Rage faints a member of the team before half of the team has at least 40 max HP, then that death will not be counted. This is mainly an early-game safety net rule.
