- INTRODUCTION
- We want to make Gehennom more interesting. One way of doing so is by breaking up the mazes with interesting things like special rooms!
- Potential additional idea #1:
- If we assign which demon lairs are to be generated at game start, we can customize the frequency of special rooms to relate to which lairs are present in the dungeon.
- Customization like this will contribute to making individual games feel more unique.
- Potential additional idea #2:
- If the lower half of Gehennom is split into Hell and Abyss, we will want to have rooms of appropriate alignment.
- Some of the rooms are also marked as entrances to hell/abyss, which would be used to make the branch stairs in gehennom interesting and noticable to the player.
