  1. When I have started my first AS year, it became clear to me that most aspects of our lifes are linked to Economy. The fact that we are all affected by any changes in economy has drawn my attention to Economics. Major reason for choosing the subject was to understand different economical affairs such as varying level of unemployment, changing inflation and interest rates or international trade.

  3. My passion for the world of business has stemmed since I was young. I have taken business studies and enterprise at GCSE and found both of the subjects similar, yet completely different approach was needed for each one. I found both of the subjects highly interesting and the previous experience has been an incentive to pick Economics as one of my AS subjects.

  5. I believe that studying Economics at Univeristy is differernt to anything else as the complicated concepts have to be applied differently each time due to the fluctuations on the global markets. I believe that studying this subject could help me to understand how issues such as poverty are dealt with on a global scale. I have chosen to study Economics, ICT and Physics in order to prepare for University. In addition to that, I am fluent in Polish, English and German.

  7. I have started working part-time at the age of 16 and I have been promoted to the chef position after two months. The work has changed me in a way as I became more responsible, my interpersonal skills have improved and my managers describe me as a helpful, responsible person who can be trusted. My parents
