PERSONAL INFORMATION

POSITIVE PERSONALITY: Kang Dae is not that keen about interacting with his co-trainees at first. He is a dork, hiding behind a cool guy persona. However, once you break his walls, he could be very playful and humorous. He says stuff that isn’t that suited for TV not because he is perverted, but because he is quite oblivious and downright innocent. When he wants to achieve something, he drives himself very hard. He is willing to go beyond what is expected of him just to prove how much he could do. His personality is very complex at first and it would take a while for some people to understand him.

NEGATIVE PERSONALITY: Because of his oblivious personality, he says stuff that he isn’t suppose to say. He is very persistent when it comes to his dream, that is why he often drives himself to his breaking point just to make sure he does his craft flawlessly. His cold exterior makes people question his intentions and empathy. Some might see his attitude as rude and distant, which are simply because of misconceptions. He usually enjoys solitude since he is not that used to the spotlight yet. He might seem really awkward around others too.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND: Kang Dae was born in California, USA. Most of his friends are back there making him a bit odd and introverted when they moved back to Korea when he turned 11. He was a member of his school’s basketball team. He was secretly started to be a trainee for YG Entertainment before graduating high school. His friends from Korea and USA thought he would pursue a career in sports, but were completely shocked when they saw him join the survival program as a trainee from YG Entertainment. The girls from his former schools were swooning at the man flashed at their TV screens.
