➣ BACKGROUND: Chunhwa was born in Jeju, 19 June, 1999. Her father works as a businessman, he owns a well-known hotel in South Korea that located in Jeju. Her mother is a supermodel, she met her father when she has a photoshoot in Jeju. Since she was young, she always want to be a supermodel like her mother. On 2008, she went with her mother to Seoul because her mother has a runaway. At that time she was offered a contract to be a child actress. She happily accepted it and her mother also supported her. She finally signed contract as a child actress under SM Entertainment. At that time she will go to Seoul only if she has a job. On 2009, SNSD comeback with Gee, and everytime she hear that song, she always want to be a singer. On 2010, she finally become an idol trainee under SM Entertainment. Because she was young at that time, she moved to Seoul and live with her grandparents. After three years of training, she was transferred to YG Entertainment because SM thinks that she suit YG better. At first she couldn't accepted it because she already have a lot of friends in SM. But, after a few months in YG she finally accept it.
