Now, I would like to share my [B]highlights from both w1 & w2[/B]:
:toxapex:: Toxapex managed to hold the top place in usage throughout both weeks, being used 5 times in w1 and 4 times in w2 (tying with Gliscor and Landorus-T)! I don't remember any other tour with such a performance of The Pex. Well, this shouldn't really come as a big surprise: Toxapex's defensive utility is certainly unmatched. I think it is safe to say that Toxapex will be at least top3 in usage throughout the entire tour.
:gliscor:: with Toxapex keeping its rise, the best abuser of it - Gliscor - also does pretty well. Although it kinda underperformed in w1 with being used 3 times and having only a 33.33% winrate, Gliscor shined in w2 - it picked the top place in usage on par with Toxapex and Landorus-T and achieved a really nice 75% winrate! Gliscor will be a pretty consistent pick for the whole tour, that's for sure.
:greninja:: after being used 4 times in w1, obtaining the 2nd place in usage right behind Toxapex, somehow we've seen an impressive amount of Greninja in w2 - zero! By the way, there were 2 Battle Bond and 2 Protean Greninja in w1; all Battle Bond ones have lost, and all Protean ones have won. Not sure of how Greninja will do throughout the rest of the tour, but I don't really expect great things from Battle Bond to be honest.
:clefable:: Clefable has recommended itself as a really reliable pick, with picking the top5 of overall use and a whopping 80% winrate. We have been seeing various sets - defensive, Calm Mind LO, LO 3 Attacks. By the way, Ice Beam Clefable from frisoeva's w2 team is a cool anti-Gliscor tech that has catched my eye. Maybe this move will become more popular as the tour goes on, but idk.
:ditto:: the purple blob also performs decently, continuing this trend from the latest SM OU tours. Its overall usage right now is equal to Clefable's - 5 times, and winrate is 60%, which is pretty good. Ditto still provides many teams with great tools against various matchups, and I don't think it is gonna drop soon.
