Cerolia stands outside the beautiful, lush, green garden by herself. Her hands are on her hips and she makes an annoyed expression.
She sees someone walking toward her in the distance, and immediately brightens up.
Cerolia: Onashia! I was waiting forever! What exactly have you been doing to take up so much of my time?!
Onashia: Sorry, I had some important stuff to take care of.
Cerolia: Uh huh. “Stuff”. It’s always “important stuff” with you. It’s because of “important stuff” that you’re always late to our! Our… our…
Onashia takes on a teasing tone, interested in Cerolia’s stammering.
Onashia: Our?
Cerolia: Our… our date.
She says it with a voice of finality, but a light pink dusts her cheek as she turns away. Onashia brushes a strand of hair from Cerolia’s face, and smiles.
Onashia: Come on. We shouldn’t delay any longer, should we? We should get to our date as soon as possible.
Cerolia huffs.
Cerolia: We would’ve been there twenty minutes ago if you weren’t late!
Onashia: I’m really sorry about that. To make up for it, I brought something that will make our date extra special.
Cerolia: Really?
Onashia: Really.
Cerolia and Onashia walk a couple more feet until they reach a gorgeous empty clearing with a large tree in the middle of it.
Cerolia: Wow… it’s beautiful.
Onashia: It really is, isn’t it? I knew you’d love it.
Cerolia: I do! It’s really pretty!
Cerolia returns to her normal bubbly self at the sight, and gives Onashia a wide smile.
Cerolia: Onashia, you’re the best! You’re the bestest!
Onashia smiles back.
Onashia: I know, but you’re amazing too, believe it.
Onashia’s grin becomes a little wider at her words.
The two of them spread a large picnic blanket over the grass, and they take a seat on it.
Cerolia: Ah… this is living the life!
Onashia is glad she picked this spot for their date. Crowded restaurants and cafes are fun, but going outside and enjoying nature is necessary once in a while.
Cerolia begins to spread her dishes onto the blanket. Assortments of sweets lay everywhere, with apple pudding, grape jelly, sandwiches, and all sorts of delicious treats lining the blanket.
Onashia opens her bag and takes out a large cake and places it on the blanket. Cerolia’s eyes widen as big as saucers.
Cerolia: You made that… for me?
Onashia simply smiles.
Onashia: Yes, yes I did. I know how much you appreciate sweets, so I—
Cerolia cuts her off by pulling her into a tight embrace.
Cerolia: Oh wow! I knew you were amazing, but this just… takes the cake. Get it?
Onashia groans.
Onashia: Yes, I guess it does. You’re amazing too, you know?
The two of them stay there, hugging each other, knowing how much the other cares for them.
