- $ sudo apt-get install alacarte
- $ alacarte
- Choose the category.
- Click 'Menu Item'.
- Give name.
- Point to the executable.
- Point to the icon.
- Click 'show applications'.
- Search for the name provided.
- Right click on icon.
- Click 'Add to favourites'.
- Done.
