So the guy who runs the story, who's kind of our narrator, took my group down into the jedi temple's detention level, and sure enough he revealed that Seki's sith master didn't actually die in battle like she thought, he was captured by Jedi and is serving out his sentence in captivity. The Jedi took her there to face him.

[4:50 PM] The Force: Its abundantly clear that the dark side is extremely prevalent here in the lower levels of the Temple Detention Center. La'men maintains his peaceful gaze forward as he motions forward to interact with the cell terminal controls. With a few button presses, the ray shield goes down and the blast door slowly opens with a loud hiss.

[4:53 PM] The Force: Inside is a brightly lit, medium-sized room, a couple dozen meters in length and width. Lining the walls are a strange material and in the far back of the room, is the strongest source of dark energy nearby. A meditating Trandoshan with long shap horns in dark prisoner robes. He smirks and lets out a faint hiss.

"It'ssss been a while."

His eyes open and shoot to Seki's.

[4:57 PM] Vasani Ke'e: Vasani laid her green eyes on the meditating Trandoshan, and she became confused when he looked at Seki. Do they know each other, she thought to herself. "Seki, do you know him?" She faintly whispered to Seki

[5:06 PM] Seki Otara: Up to that moment, Seki had remained quiet and still, stony-faced despite the emotion roiling within her. When her eyes met the slit pupils of Lord Drago Roz however, the fragile facade of bravery fell away and, on instinct, she dropped to one knee. With her head bowed, and acting on the kind of autopilot formed from years of habit, she held out her lightsaber hilt and cradled it in both hands in a gesture of fealty. "Punjiet hassko, gwa misuku. Sham rontonits hassko kahassk jar s'ent." Vasani's question went unanswered, earning only another flinch in response. (Translation: Forgive me, my lord. They told me you were dead.)

[5:10 PM] The Force: Master La'men stood above Seki, unphased by her actions.  "Do not give in to him. He no longer controls you."

The Sith exploded in fury towards the Jedi master.  "Quiet! You know nothing."   He speaks to Seki in her mind. "S'ont yot atocha. Ank t'sum Grasset" ("Kill them. We must leave.")

[5:13 PM] Seki Otara: Seki's head snapped up to fix her gaze on La'men, but before she could respond, the sound of her master's voice had cowed her into silence again. She closed her eyes tightly, struggling to focus through her own fear, and to place her reply back into Roz's mind — and into La'men's, as well, the Force equivalent of letting him secretly listen to a conversation through the landline.  "Sham nac jal s'ont etto jedi, enk lasska inyameet." (Translation: "I can't defeat one Jedi, let alone many.")

[5:17 PM] The Force: La'men meditates for a moment to attempt to make Seki feel at ease in the presence of her old master.  "This one is stronger in the Force than you realize, Sith. Strong enough to resist you."

Drago Roz stands, obviously furious eyes still focused on Seki. "SSSSTUPID, FOOLISH GIRL! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"

[5:20 PM] Seki Otara: Seki met her master's gaze again and rose from the ground, glancing between the Sith and the Jedi next to her. So frequently did she look from one to the other that it wasn't immediately clear which she was addressing when she spoke again. "I can't. I'm not strong enough."

[5:21 PM] Koryl Neleen: As the Trandoshans stands and screams Koryl wakes up from her stupor and shouts back "I am waiting for you to shut up so i can leave this cursed place!"

[5:22 PM] The Force: His eyes turn towards Koryl at her little outburst and suddenly she finds herself unable to breathe, the Force wrapping around her throat and squeezing. (take 2 wound damage @Koryl Neleen)

[5:24 PM] Seki Otara: The moment that she heard Koryl wheezing, Seki turned toward the Trandoshan who had raised her, and she spoke with more authority than she had ever mustered in his presence. "Release her. Release her and I'll release you."

[5:25 PM] The Force: Hearing Seki's offer and after a couple moments of breathlessness, the Sith releases the grip on Koryl's windpipe.

[5:28 PM] Seki Otara: Drawing her weapon, Seki met the Jedi's gaze, a wave of uncertainty and shame rolling off of her. Her voice spoke so quietly in the Jedi's mind that it would be easy to miss it: "I'm not like you." Then, raising her disruptor pistol, she fired directly at her former master.

[5:41 PM] The Force: The disruptor shot impacts the Sith's shoulder in a surprise to everyone present. He lets out a howl of pain and rage. He shrieks at Seki. "I gave you the choice of returning to my side and aiding me willing... but you have elected the way of PAIN!" He reaches his scaly hand forward and attempts to crush @Seki Otara windpipe. (take 4 wound damage @Seki Otara)

[5:44 PM] Seki Otara: Seki's hands rose in a defensive position as she struggled against the crushing pressure, but her master's powers were far greater than her own. She lifted from the floor, the soft leather of her boots making shuffling sounds as her toes scraped against the polished stone.

[5:49 PM] The Force: Master La'men focuses hard with his hands outstretched focused on anyone within the room, breaking Drago Roz's concentration and freeing Seki from his grasp.  The moment everyone was clear, he slammed his palm against the controls and sealed the door. The ray shield reactivated, preventing any further blaster shots from penetrating the door.

[5:52 PM] Seki Otara: The girl fell forward, landing hard on her forearms and shins, the black at the edge of her vision receding as visions of golden sparkles danced in front of her eyes. Drawing a deep, wheezing breath, she fell back into a sitting position and reached for her disruptor again, though it was a struggle to instruct her fingers to wrap around it. By the time she raised her pistol again, the shields had risen into place. "Let me finish this!" she shouted to the Jedi, her voice raspy and painful in her throat.

[6:00 PM] The Force: The Twi'lek Jedi master would sit down in a meditative posture with Seki.
"You have faced your greatess fear today.  You have shown him that you are no longer afraid."

[6:04 PM] Seki Otara: "You're wrong," she said hoarsely, cradling her lightsaber hilt in her lap with both hands and avoiding looking at any of her companions. "I am afraid." Slowly she looked up at the Jedi, her abnormally eyes shining like glass. "Nothing has changed. I thought things would be different when he was dead, but it was a mistake. He wasn't dead, and I wasn't free."

[6:07 PM] Koryl Neleen: Koryl walked up to Seki and says"Hey atleast you stood up for me, so i can atleast thank you for that, just for that simple fact that you actually cared for a sec makes you better than this blasted Trandoshan will ever be, and these are not just my words, i think i can speak for Ziw that you are already vastly different than that monster will ever be"Koryl extends her hand

[6:08 PM] The Force: La'men frowns slightly.  "In time you will see, young one. With guidance."

[6:09 PM] Ziw: He snorts, nodding his head at Koryl's words as he stood there, his arms still crossed over his chest as he watches Seki.

[6:11 PM] Seki Otara: Seki didn't respond to either of them. It was as if she didn't hear them at all, she never even looked in their direction, never lifted her head. For all her affected bravado and arrogance, for them to see her in such a vulnerable state was shameful and terrifying. "Guidance... in the Jedi ways? I'm already weak, barely strong enough to protect myself or survive, and you would have me give up what little strength I have?"

[6:13 PM] Ziw: He gives Seki a roar when she called that awful path "strength" as he stares at her now. He walks over to her and stands in front of her to stare her down. He doesn't say anything, but he stares at her.

[6:14 PM] The Force: Master La'men stands up and looks to each of you. "I invite you all to stay here at the Temple as guests. I feel you all are strong with the Force. More so than you imagine."

[6:17 PM] Seki Otara: A moment later Seki stood as well. Tiny as she was, avoiding the wookiee's gaze was easy enough. She looked past La'men to cell 291. "Whatever the rest of you decide on," she said flatly, "I'll go along with."

[6:17 PM] Vasani Ke'e: "Thank you Master La'men" Vasani finally gathered the will to speak, then looked over to Seki, Vasani wanted to do something but she didn't know how to reassure her and tell her that she isn't weak like she thought she was.

[6:19 PM] Ziw: He looks around before looking over at La'men and nods his head, making the definitive answer of they're staying. Seki needed help getting past this idea in her head, and he knows the Jedi are probably her best chance.

[6:21 PM] The Force: "Excellent" he says with a smile. From down the corridor the Temple Guards and a few medical personnel accompanying them return to the cell.  "Perhaps we should leave now. I'll show you to your quarters." The Twi'lek walks back down the hallway towards the same turbolift you arrived in.

[6:23 PM] Seki Otara: Seki followed first, eager to remove herself from the sinking pull of her former master's Force presence.

[6:29 PM] The Force: The Twi'lek Jedi leads you all back out to and up the lift, passing more Temple Guards on the way. Back out into the main Temple courtyards and surrounded by peace and serenity emitted by the countless Jedi wandering the halls, you feel calm brush over you all.

After a long and silent walk, you arrive to a dormitory of sorts for guests of the Jedi to stay. Multiple rooms sit next to eachother along a hallway of doors.

"If you have a ship, use this to gain access to the Jedi landing bays." He hands reaches out a small, plain looking datachip.

[6:30 PM] Ziw: He reaches out to take the datachip from the Twi'lek, nodding his head at him as he looks at the others to make sure everyone was fine now. He was feeling the calm coming over him now. He put his large hands on Vasani and Koryl's shoulders and led them into the suite of rooms to talk.

[6:32 PM] Seki Otara: Seki began to follow, then hesitated and turned to look back at the Jedi,. "What's going to happen to him?"

[6:34 PM] The Force: "He will remain in his cell under close observation to serve the remainder of his sentence."

[6:36 PM] Seki Otara: Without responding, Seki nodded and entered one of the rooms. She had agreed to remain for the sake of the rest of the group, and since their return to the main temple, the pull of the Dark side was significantly lessened; the others probably didn't feel it at all. Every now and then she could convince herself that her life was a clean slate. It would be nice, after all, to take the easy route and set aside the tools that the Sith had given her. But whenever that thought began to bring her peace, just beneath the serenity and order of the temple, she would feel the familiar tug of the Dark Side, and the presence of her Master.
