- Whats your daily life like?
- I know you toured with STS, I know you have a bunch of projects you love to put in work for, but what does it look like on a daily basis? you wake up.. and you?
- Wake up, usually hang out with friends, practice music, play games, hiking and such when it's nice out haha.
- What is your job?
- How long have you been there?
- Night crew at Safeway. Over a year but I was a produce clerk for 3 years here before.
- You got a family or anything? I have a fiance and a 2 yr old daughter myself.
- I have a girlfriend who's in the process of moving out here. Currently I'm at my mom's since she has the extra room.
- You mentioned you might be involved with another band that you auditioned for. Hows that going?
- So that fell through, at the moment I do not have anything going on.
- Besides my solo project, Pluto
- Do you have disposable income to throw at a project? Like $50+ a month?
- Yeah I can make that happen.
- What do you think you can bring to us?
- A lot of energy first and foremost. I'm very passionate about what I do in music and will do whatever it takes to make the band happen.
- Our band focuses on the dark side of life, and represents it through unconventional emotions. Do you feel like you resonate with our message?
- Hmm. So kind of. I feel like I write from the standpoint of mental illness and the depression and anxieties I have. They arent like poor me, but more so the idea of putting light to it. Although the song I sent you guys had some of the darkest lyrics that I've written.
- Not sure if you really understood all of them.
- I tried to hear what I could. What really spoke to me about your audition was the amount of voice you used in your screams.
- What do you expect from your colleagues?
- If you want I could send you the lyrics. And thanks man !
- Hmm. A good environment to grow as musicians and friends. No egos. No bullshit.
- You own a car?
- Paying one off haha. I bought a newel car from a dealership a year ago.
- Whats the worst experience you've had within the music scene
- Hmm. I don't necessarily think I've had a really bad experience. At least not one that comes to mind. Mostly it's the same shit. Playing to nobody sometimes sucks but you still give you're all.
- How long do you see yourself involved in this project?
- If things keep getting better, progress at a steady rate I could see myself doing it for the long haul. The only thing I can think of to go against that is if things just stay stale and nothing really happens to keep the fire going. If that makes sense.
- What maintains the fire for you? 'Facebook likes', 'spotify streams', 'audience attendence'...
- Shows and consistency. Like I don't like to much down time.
- I like to be active basically haha.
- If I'm going to put my all in something it's gotta be 100 percent worth it. Y'know ?
- Since we are starting out playing shows with a new line-up, we dont get offered very lucrative shows. I know you have an up-front look at what it takes to rise up through the ranks. Does starting from the bottom bother you?
- No. Because if the band is really good it can rise pretty damn quickly. Haha if it wasnt a good band I wouldn't have been interested.
- thats all i have man
- thank you for being open
- Definitely man, no reason not to be transparent haha. Sounds good!
