Ezraya: So I didn’t go to school today because something happened. Something I...I don’t know if I should say.

KingPuff: Aleph, you can tell me anything. I won’t judge you.

Aleph: [He stares at his monitor for a solid minute.] She trusts me…

Ezraya: So I have been sleeping with my english teacher for almost two months, and it wasn’t until yesterday I came out because for a long time, I was scared. I was scared to come out because she had power over me. If I told my friends, they would either not believe me or high five me because many guys find her hot. I did too...but she’s my teacher, and I’m underage. I’m sorry if this is too graphic for you.

KingPuff: It’s okay. I’m more worried about you. Are you alright?

Ezraya: Indubitably :)

Nahee: [She looks inside her mailbox and finds a letter from Aleph. She smiles and takes it with her inside. She sits down and opens it, reading the entire thing. Nahee covers her mouth, holding back tears of joy, chuckling and blushing. She quickly goes to her messages.]

Nahee: Aleph, do you have time to talk?

Aleph: Sure!

Nahee: [Goes to her contacts and calls Aleph.]

*ring ring*

Aleph: Happy Valentines Day!

Nahee: Thank you. Aleph, I need to tell you something.

Aleph: Righty-o.

Nahee: I’m in love with you, Aleph. [They both pause for a moment.]

Aleph: A-Are you sure?

Nahee: I have never been more sure. You’ve been here for me more times than I can count, you make me smile, laugh, and overall happier with myself. You make my life better...Aleph?

Aleph: [He is still at a loss of words over what he heard. It takes him longer to muster up the courage to say anything.] You make my life better too.

Nahee: I understand that this is a cheesy day to confess my love to you...but I feel like the time was right.

Aleph: I completely understand. I...I love you too. [He snickers.] Wow. I actually said it.

Nahee: I said it too…[She laughs.]

Aleph: Do you want to go out some time? Just kidding! We’re kind of...spread apart. That’s what she said.

Nahee: [She chuckles.] Don’t worry about that. I can find something out. When do you go back to school this summer?

Aleph: August 24th. Why?

Nahee: I get out of school around July 20th I’m sure. I was thinking if I could fly over and visit you. O-Only if you want me to…

Aleph: ...That would mean the world to me. Are you sure you want to do this? It’ll be a long distance.

Nahee: I understand, but we have several months to plan this out. It will be worth it.

Aleph: Okay...What do you want to do now?

Nahee: Talk if you want to.

[Aleph is sitting at an airport, holding a sign that says: “Nahee, it’s your boy!”. He looks over and notices a smaller but more expensive looking airplane land. He looks up and smiles.]

Aleph: [He quickly looks into a mirror and combs his hair back.] She shouldn’t think I’m that ugly...yeah she wouldn’t! Okay, just focus. Today will either be the best or worst day of my life. Nahee spent so much time and money just to meet me, so I have to make her feel welcome, or else I’m a complete failure of a boyfriend and person overall. [He looks afar.] Is that…[He smiles.] Yeah…[He spots Nahee in a crowd and holds up his sign.]

Nahee: [She sees Aleph and quickly makes her way over to him. She’s smiling the entire way.]

Aleph: Have you seen a girl by the name of Nahee?

Nahee: [She suddenly hugs Aleph, tearing up a bit. She lets go.] Sorry...I…

Aleph: No no. Please continue!

Nahee: [She looks him in the eye and smiles warmly.] I’m so happy to meet you.

Aleph: [He smiles and blushes.] I second that.

[The two make it back to Aleph’s house. It’s large, yet it blends in with the other buildings and houses.]

Aleph: So my parents set up a guest room for you which is right next to my room. Oh.

Nahee: Tell them I’m very grateful for the hospitality. Oh, I almost forgot. [She goes into her suitcase, and pulls out a container.]

Aleph: Ooh. What’s the mystery food?

Nahee: Open it!

Aleph: [He takes the lid off, and finds himself several homemade cream puffs. He gasps.] You made these?

Nahee: [She giggles.] Right before I left for my flight.

Aleph: You shouldn’t have! [He bites into one, and his eyes light up.] This is the best thing I have put in my mouth- that’s what she said. You must be tired from that long flight.

Nahee: Not really. I slept most of the flight.

Aleph: Is that so...well are in the mood for some late night seafood?

Nahee: [She grins.] Yes.

[At the restaurant, it is completely noisy, yet the couple can hear each other just fine.]

Aleph: Hey check this out. [He picks up a boiled crab.] Oh yeah! [He breaks off the arm.] AAAAAAAAAAAH!

Nahee: [She laughs really hard.]

Aleph: So when do you leave back for Japan?

Nahee: I haven’t actually decided. Maybe...next week?

Aleph: Wow, I hope I can keep you entertained for a week.

Nahee: I’m already having fun. I’m just so happy to finally see you.

Aleph: Me too! Is it alright if we take a picture later? It’s the only way my parents can know you’re real or not.

Nahee: They think I’m not real?

Aleph: They like to mess with me, but I sometimes wonder if they genuinely believe that.

Nahee: We can take the picture now.

Aleph: Awesome. [The two smile as Aleph takes a quick selfie.] Also...is it alright if we uh…

Nahee: Kiss?

Aleph: [He widens his eyes.] Uh...y-yeah!

Nahee: [She kisses his lips. She looks at his red face and giggles.]

Aleph: Good morning. [He smiles. He flips a pancake with a spatula.] Get ready for the best pancakes of your li- [He flips it too high and it hits the ceiling fan.] Shit!

Nahee: Oh…

Aleph: Well I burnt the bacon, and Dad took the eggs with him.

Nahee: It’s okay! We can eat out if you want to.

Aleph: Uh, no. Breakfast at this time of day is a no no...unless you want beignets.

Nahee: What are those?

Aleph: It’s a...trust me you’ll like them!

Nahee: Okay. [She grins.] What else would you like to do today?

Aleph: Oh...uh, you wanna see some of the museums and street art?

Nahee: Of course.

Aleph: I just feel bad, because you are the guest and-

Nahee: I’ll do anything with you. As long as we have fun.

[They are sitting together on a bus while on the freeway.]

Aleph: I’m surprised you knew that the water park.

Nahee: I looked up water parks in New Orleans before I left because I love them.

Aleph: Y-You do?

Nahee: Yes! It will be more fun with you. [She hold his hand, and grins the whole way.]

Aleph: [He worries.]

[At Ze Wasser Park.]

Aleph: [He is walking with Nahee, holding her hand. He’s trying. He really is...but occasionally he peeks at Nahee’s breasts, which are larger than he would imagine.] W…

Nahee: What’s that?

Aleph: Would you like to go down the tube slide?

Nahee: Okay! The lines not that long fortunately.

Aleph: Alright…


[Later that night, the couple are watching a movie in the living room. Aleph has his arm wrapped around Nahee, and she couldn’t be more content. He’s going to die of nervousness if he asks it, but he must say it.]

Aleph: Nahee?

Nahee: Yes?

Aleph: Yeah...th-that…

Aleph: I don’t know, but if we ever get to THAT point in our relationship...I just don’t want to make you dislike me because sometimes I have trouble.

Nahee: Aleph, that sounds incredibly silly to fret over.

Aleph: Is it?

Nahee: Well for me, yeah. I love you because you are you. Does that make sense to you?

Aleph: Yeah it does.

Nahee: We should get ready. What time is our bus coming?

Aleph: A little over two hours. We have time to-

[Three hours later, the bus drops them off at a farm in the outskirts of the city limits.]

Nahee: Look, Aleph! They’re grazing. They look so peaceful…

Aleph: They sure do.

Aleph: I’m not going anywhere, but you are.

Nahee: Just know that you are welcome to visit me anytime. I can even help arrange a plane to come pick you up.

Aleph: That seems like a lot for someone like me…

Nahee: You’re wrong. You are the best thing in my life. This week, I will cherish forever. I love you, and nothing will ever change that.

Aleph: You’ve really made my life so much better. Does it snow where you live in the winter?

Nahee: Yes! The mountains are especially beautiful in Kyoto.

Aleph: Winter break it is.

Nahee: [She hugs Aleph in excitement.] It feels so far away.

Aleph: It will come sooner than you think. But in the meantime, have fun. Do amazing in school, and I’ll do the same. And eventually, I will come.[He nods.]

Nahee: That’s what she said.

Aleph: [He genuinely laughs, as Nahee does the same.] I love you.

Nahee: I love you too. [She waves goodbye, making her way to her plane.]

Aleph: Well my trip to Japan is in less than a month, so I was thinking I may need extra money just in case.

Aleph Ezra’s Dad: Good thing money means nothing to me, Sport! [He hands Aleph the exact amount of money.] Look, son...I hope you have a fun time. This isn’t the first time we won’t be around for Christmas, but your mother and I couldn’t be any happier to see you smile and feel good about life.

Aleph: [He grins at his dad.] Thank you. That means a lot to hear.

Aleph Ezra’s Dad: [Looks at his watch.] Oh would you look at the time. Your mom and I will be back as soon as possible once the convention in Boise ends!

Aleph: In four days?

Aleph Ezra’s Dad: You bet! [He dashes off, hopping into a cab with Aleph Ezra’s Mom.]

Aleph: [He checks his phone. It’s a picture from Nahee of the streets.]

Nahee: It isn’t much, but it snowed earlier this morning and I wanted to take a picture before it melts away.

Aleph: [He approaches Nahee.] Oh shit, here comes me! [The two embrace.]

Nahee: It’s been so long, but I’m so happy to see you again! [She kisses his cheek.] Oh, I made us something. [She hands Aleph a cream puff.]

Aleph: Oh my god, I miss these so freaking much.

Nahee: Our ride should be here soon. [She notices Aleph brought two suitcases.] Oh, that’s a lot of luggage.

Christmas Eve, 11:57pm

Aleph: I’m surprised I’ve gotten accustomed to this time zone change pretty well. I know it technically isn’t Christmas yet...but I got a present for you.

Nahee: Wait you did?

Aleph: [He rolls his second suitcase into the living room.] Open it.

Nahee: [She unzips it, and a giant Ditto beanbag plops out of it. She jumps, but seconds later she processes what it was.] Is this...for me?

Aleph: Yyyup.

Nahee: Aleph...I love it. [She smiles, and kisses Aleph for what seemed like an eternity. She blushes.] I...I think you’ll like this present.

Aleph: Present? Woah. Woah!


Christmas, 2015

[After an hour ride on the shinkansen, and another hour walking, the two were near the snowy mountains.]

Nahee: Well. Here we are.

Aleph: …

Nahee: Do you like it?

Aleph: [He sheds a tear, staring at the snowy mountains.] I...I love it. [He kneels down to pick up some snow. He couldn’t contain his joy, and starts to laugh.]

Nahee: [She watches him, and grins.]

Aleph: It’s really cold here...but real quick. Let’s make a small snowman.

Nahee: Yes!

[It took longer than they expected, but after applying the rocks for eyes, it is complete.]

Nahee: Should we name it?

Aleph: Sure! Um...how about Len?

Nahee: [She smiles warmly.] I love that name. [She wraps her arm around Aleph, and he does the same, looking at what they made together.]
