Hey guys.

So Socrates has been abruptly called to IRL things and will be gone for a month. With our situation accelerating a bit, we can bring up the main bits of the upcoming plan now.

Arkhos Core is establishing a second base (of sorts) in Sov null in Tribute. We’ve been invited to head out and team up (by several groups, actually) and have accepted an offer for setting blue standings with the alliance Centipede Caliphate [Centi]. They are an active PvP alliance that holds some sov in the region, but does very little PvE of their own - something useful for maintaining held systems - and are looking for a group to help them with that.

Essentially, TGBOI was set to join Arkhos Core as a full member corp and we’d go out there as one alliance. The joining was something we’d been planning since you moved out to Venal with us and we were just about ready to make things official before today’s events happened. We’ve been working together with you guys for a while now and are pleased with how things have gone. Our ZD4 defense fleets are successful considering our average experience/skillpoints and activity is pretty good. It's something to be proud of.

While under the past plan we would have brought in TGBOI proper and worked from there, since Soc did not place an application to the alliance before he left, I will instead be offering membership status to any member who wants to move from TGBOI to Frozen Silver. You are welcome to return to TGBOI once Soc returns and brings the corp into the alliance, or you can stay in our corp if you feel so inclined - we won't mind. We have essentially been treating you as alliance members already so nothing will change on that front.

However, if you do not come with us now, you may be left behind. We will obviously not be removing any access for TGBOI members in ZD4, however it will no longer be our primary location and as such you should expect reduced support there - especially without a CEO.

Things to know about Centi space:

We will NOT have our own infrastructure and will be using theirs. This means that we are primarily there to PvE and PvP. Things like industry are to remain in ZD4 in our own facilities. Out-of-alliance alts will not be able to dock in their structures. Do not ask for an exception. This in particular is why anyone who stays in TGBOI will not be able to come to Tribute with us.

Keep at least one jump clone in both our current space and theirs. We have yet to establish where the home clone station in Tribute will be, but it is likely to be the Fortizar in their space. Defense ops for ZD4 will continue as they are necessary. We will provide more info on both as it becomes available.

Centi is currently under attack by other entities. While they do have their own batphones and assistance, there is a chance they’ll get evicted. Their mindset is similar to ours in this regard - they’ll just try again, and we may be there to help them when that happens. But obviously this means don’t invest too much into anything in that space. Don’t bring your shiny ships and modules out there unless you intend to use and lose them.

Centi’s main PvP doctrine is Gilas - a pirate faction cruiser drone boat using T2 medium drones and requiring both gallente and caldari skills. Any members who can fly these ships will likely be able to buy them in their staging. If you can’t, we will have ewar frigates (tackle slasher, ecm griffin, and dampener maulus) available in their staging for handout/low-cost. Expect the fit to be posted to bulletins to check against your skills.

Participating in Centi ops is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. They could use the numbers boost and we have plenty of that to spare, so the more the better. However, these guys are veterans and we do not want to stick them with babysitting players who are inexperienced. If you aren’t comfortable flying in the main doctrine fleet (or if you can’t fly the ships as-displayed) then don’t make a fuss, just ship into an ewar frigate and do your best with that. Try not to talk during a fleet op unless it’s to relay absolutely critical information or to respond when something is requested of you. If you have questions, message someone quietly or ask in a text channel.

We will do LOTS of rapid response PvP. Since the blackout remains in effect, PvE ships will likely get tackled often. We will provide DOCTRINE PvE ships for ratting and mining - deviating from these ships and fits brings risk upon yourself at your own prerogative. Essentially we will expect you to fly what is provided for PvE purposes. Rapid response PvP generally consists of warping in fast tackle to snag hostiles that have tackled our pve ships, and then bringing in our own combat ships to fight them. In general this means you should try not to rat or mine alone - seek friends in alliance to hang out with in comms. PvP ships can be to your liking but try to have a variety. Flying one ship size exclusively can be a detriment. Doctrine PvE fits will also be posted in bulletins. Modifying a fit for need of skills is acceptable, but have it verified by someone first (probably me).

Centi will be blue with us, and they will likely expect us to conform to some additional political requirements that are as-of-yet not established. If anything comes up with this, we will tell you as soon as possible.

Lastly, Centi has valuable moons that we may have the ability to mine during established alliance ops. There will be a system for collection of materials and members are expected to provide all mined ore to Arkhos Core - members will be paid for their time based on the amounts mined, participation, pvp ships on standby, etc. The more that we all mine, the more isk there will be to pay out to participants. This system will NOT be in place for any other type of mining, all other income is yours to use as you see fit.
