ACT 2 PUCK

[SCENE: Hallway, outside the classroom. It's the late afternoon, the sun is shining through a nearby window]

PUCK: MC! Wait up!!

[MC turns around, Puck stops short of running into him, taking a quick breather]

PUCK: I um! I wanted to tell you something! Just.. .hooh... let me catch my breath.

[He wheezes a few times, the last two sound effects sounding crackly and harsh]

(MC: Puck seems.. unusually nervous. Is this about yesterday?)

PUCK: I... I wanted to thank you, for all the time you've been spending with AN UNWORTHY STAIN LIKE ME

PUCK: All the time you've been spending with me, you helped me realize I don't have to be what my mother says I am, what I was told I was all my life I...I can be something good, I can be kind, I can do good.

PUCK: Do you think I'm a good person?

(MC: When we met, Puck was just some attack dog for the baseball team. He was crude, aggressive and... sad. Sad to be around, sad to listen to. After spending some time with him he's turned out to be a really sweet guy. So.. do I think he's a good person?)

[PUCKs sprite is now visibly bloodied around the forehead area]

MC: Puck--

[PUCK continues to slam his head against the wall, sprite thudding against the screen and becoming more and more bloodied and gory]
