- artiserv@artiserv-desktop:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/cups restart
- Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
- utility, e.g. service cups restart
- Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
- Upstart job, you may also use the restart(8) utility, e.g. restart cups
- cups start/running, process 8631
- kill -1 pid of cups
- then kill -9 the ccpd
- then sudo /etc/init.d/ccpd start
