  1. 1kg ground beef
  2. 1.5L (48oz) tomatoes, passerade (48oz tomato sauce, imperial)
  3. 400g (12oz) crushed tomatoes (12oz, imperial)
  4. 50mL basil (3.5tbsp, imperial)
  5. 30mL oregano (2tbsp, imperial)
  6. 30mL garlic salt (2tbsp, imperial)
  7. 20mL black pepper (1.5tbsp, imperial)
  8. 2 medium-sized white onions, finely chopped
  9. 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  10.  
  11. 1. Brown ground beef.
  12. 2. Drain grease from ground beef.
  13. 3. Combine ground beef, spices and onion/garlic in large 4L (16 cup) pot.
  14. 4. Simmer until warm.
